Week 1, Day 4 & Day 5

Day 4 was raining, a lot. So i skipped running today and did in on Day 5. Day 5 was sunny and about 10 degrees Celcius, so i got a quick run in before i went to Black Panther (a good movie, solid 8 out of 10). They showed the Infinity War trailer in the movie theater and i got excited when the Avengers theme came when i saw it on youtube. 
When i heared it in the movie theater i teared up. Its such an awesome theme and i've waited so long for this movie :D

Cool stuff. That Onnit beginner program actually looks pretty good; I like how the hinge is patterned first using a chest-loaded Swing. I might use that.

 

Anyway, I'd recommend checking out Brittany van Schravendijk. She puts out good Kettlebell Sport and gymnastics content. Also, my friend who does custom kettlebell programming if you're more into Hardstyle.

Week 1, Day 6 & Day 7

Easy days, streamed on Saturday for 1,5-2 hours and talked a lot more than during my first stream :D. The rest of the day i relaxed and played a bit of Destiny 2 with a friend and in the evening i watched a few shows.

One i really like so far this season is Violet Evergarden on Netflix. After the war Violet Evergarden becomes a DOLL (a person who types/writes letters for people who can't write/type) to find out the meaning of the words "I Love You". Which here sergeant said to her before he died during the war. And every episode i teared up. The story, visuals and music are just amazing. I think this is the only show so far i didn't skip the intro/outro. I recommend this if you are looking for a Fantasy/Drama show.

 

After the shows i went to bed early, really tired.

 

On Sunday i did a quick run of 3,5km just to get it in. Upcoming week going to try to get 3 runs in.

Week 2, Day 1

Woke up early after my nightshift but was luckily able to sleep a bit longer. Cleaned, worked out & played a bit of Mass Effect Andromeda

ITs not bad. I restarted the game because i never finished it and its been so long since i played it i forgot the story :) 

It looks great, the combat is good. Sadly after all those oatches the facial expressions still look a bit weird, but i can live with that.

Week 2, Day 2

Had a nice 5K run within 30 minutes :D and after i cooled down on my balcony. Despite being 5 degrees C (41 degrees F) it was very nice outside. A little bit of sun does a lot ;) 

Also practiced kicking up for my handstands, got a few decent kicks and one leg to the wall but it was a bent leg. But this is the start to handstands :)

I love how you track your stuff with a bolded/colored strike. I may have to "barrow" this. Haha!

It's such a great visual way of knowing where you are at in your challenge.

If I may add to the stream conversation, as I watch a lot of video games videos and streams, more for mobile gaming, but sometimes for long periods as well.

I completely agree with @Lilmissbri Couple of things to add which I love from my favorite streamers are also when they explain what they are doing "ok, let's go there first to make sure abc is happening before doing xyz", so you keep the audience entertained but also may teach them some things, as very likely they also play the game :). Second is being cool when something does not go right - nothing makes me happier than a streamer that makes a mistake and then moves on and laughs it off. Especially for non-professional players, it helps a lot to create a feeling of community and likeness. So commenting on your mistakes and either in overcoming them or just moving on and going on is helping us see that you are just like your audience. 

Finally, a year and half ago when I started watching streams and videos no one had a camera, so it was only commenting. So don't worry about not having a cam yet and plain have fun and share that fun with us! 

 

PS: I love this thread - lifting heavy weights, manga themes and video game streams. It is like "all the things I like to do on Sundays in 1 thread" :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I got it from @Akura, its a great way to keep track here and easy if i don't feel like adding text to the post :)

Thank you :D All things i enjoy on a daily basis and each help me relax after a hard work day.

Also thank you for the tips, right now i just talk a bit of nonsense during my Shadow of the Colossus stream. Maybe a other game will help as well to make the stream more fun, but which one?

I talk a lot while I play games and have considered streaming at least some of my single player experience so it is a bit more engaging. I prefer that kind of social aspect to gaming but don't really have the time/capacity to play too many multiplayer games with friends anymore. I'm definitely creeping on your budding streaming experience. :)

Any game you enjoy you will do great in streaming by sharing your appreciation of the game and the fun you are having while playing!

 

One of my fav youtuber / streamer is Nickatnyte - he does vids and streams mostly Clasy Royale (my kind of game - silly, easy, 3 min long!) but also PC games and some console games. He's super silly as @Lilmissbri mentioned, and he is also just plain fun "oh no! I feel into a hole! Ok, so let's start over" or "So we lost again. Okay they will start calling us Loseatnyte". Always super positive, silly / random / crazy / goofy too. And alsy really human with mistake and laughs so we can relate. 

He does both solo streams and streams with other youtubers, so if you want you can check different styles!

Week 2, Day 4 till Day 7

It was cold and i was tired from my night shifts so i didn't do that much. Happily still got a short run in so thats something. Played games a very long time with friends on friday and went to bed at around 3-4 am. Woke up late and didn't stream :( but in the evening played a bit of Fortnite Battle Royale on PS4 with my best friend who i haven't heard from for about 4-5 months :)

Week 3, Day 1 till Day 5

Short answer: i did nothing.

Long answer: i did nothing, because it was ice cold. Here in the Netherlands we suddenly got cold weather from Russia. Everyday the temperature was below freezing with a max of -9 degrees Celcius and with a strong wind it was -17 degrees Celcius. Sadly i only have one heater in my apartment, in my living room, and that means the rest of the rooms are only barely on a comfortable temperature. 

Everyday the alarm went and i quickly turned it off and instead of going to my living room, where its comfortable, i jumped right back into bed where i was warm and cozy.

Luckily the temperature is going back up tomorrow and next week its going to rise to double digits :D 

And then i'll be right back into routine :)

It was, he knows a lot about Fortnite Battle Royale. I only play it every now and then. 

After i finished my Shadow of the Colossus stream i'm planning to stream around 19:00. Perhaps ill see you then ;)

Week 4, Day 1

A long Monday. Worked a bit of overtime till 16:00 (normally i work till 14:00) and after that quickly home to shower and dress for a work dinner. Got home around 8-9 and just crashed and went to sleep. I'm glad i did my headstand training in the morning before work :D 

And because of my overtime on Friday i can go home earlier :)
