I'm so in. (So long as we can walk and talk between the fun stuff... I mean, what's the rush?)

Well, this week has been pretty craptacular TBH.  One day of running, one day of lifting, and good eating days were few and far between.  I'm letting this two job thing really get the better of me, and my health, both mental and physical, are suffering.  Whine, whine, bitch, and moan.  Tomorrow is another day and I need to get back in charge.

In 18 days, I'm hoping against hope that the 3rd contract on our condo closes and two weeks after that, I'll be starting a new phase in life with only one full time job.  It's pretty scary to look at my budget and see the weekly salary that I've relied on for 13+ years disappear and have nothing guaranteed in its place.  All my numbers point to being able to start working for myself and have my moonlighting hours become my full time job and pay our bills with money left over for savings.  Those jobs come in when they come in though.  I sent out advertising flyers over the holidays, with little to no response.  New work keeps coming in though (6 new jobs, either estimates or real jobs last week alone).  Really hoping that life will ease up a little in the next month and a half.  In the meantime, I've got to get back in control of things I can handle, even if that means getting up early to run or lift or whatever.  I know IF works and I need to stop letting the constant stress "force" me into eating poorly.  Jeez, it's not like I'm going to starve or anything.  Just get with the program Gunslinger_25.

Yeah, you've got a lot going on! And all this upheaval AT THE SAME TIME, I'm sure isn't helping. BUT...

You're a sensible dude. (Except that whole "running" thing... ) You wouldn't be taking a leap like this is the math didn't add up! Trust your cautions during those dark moments of uncertainty! You wouldn't be doing it if it wasn't sensible!

That's normal. My understanding is that it takes quite a few rounds of THE SAME DAMN MAILER to see any real return. BUT

Semi-OK week.  Ran, lifted, and ate well, but not enough of any of them.  Did get a long-term item off my to-do list and completed my POA, living will, and last will.  Two items of note:

1.  My ashes must be spread at the half-way point of the Appalachian Trail, with 1/4 mile of hiking being conducted in the style of the Ministry of Silly Walks.

2.  My beneficiaries will not be able to sell my home until they jointly cut down the mightiest tree in the forest with....a herring.

My only regret is that I won't be around to enjoy it.

Challenge summary:

In the last week, I ran 22 miles, but lifted none.  IF and tracking 4 of 7 days with a weight loss of ~4 pounds.
I give myself a C+ for this challenge as things certainly could have gone better, but I'm on the upswing with a lot of my goals.
