Daily Handstands 2018

Handstands have been happening here :)

 

I have been doing handstands at the beach and getting plenty of strange looks. 

 

I discovered yesterday that if I kick up into the handstand with the intent to walk a few steps I get better balance than if I intend to just hold it, regardless of which I actually end up doing. Apparently walking is my compensation tool for leaning too far back so if I think I won't have that option I don't kick up high enough.

Giving myself 'til the end of the year for this achievement get, so I'm in! Made it upside-down several times last challenge. But only with wall support! I need more shoulder strength, more core stability, more balance and less fear. So... a LOT actually. :blink:

I have managed to get inverted in some form or another each of the last 4 days :)  Today wasn't handstands, but I did manage to get upside down for a bit

You should hang it a little further.  While your head is down there, just drop your hands and kick up your feet and turn that frown upside down :)

Got 'em in, 4 sets Monday, 5 sets Tuesday, missed Wednesday, 4 sets Thursday, 4 sets Friday, and missed yesterday.

 

Shoulder alignment won't go straight. I'm feeling like I need to slightly Planche to maintain my balance.
