So the last few weeks I’ve been preparing for my thesis. But I haven’t started writing yet. I read a lot of books about the topic and learned stuff about Syntax. It was a productive month, but I realized I’ve fallen back into an old habit. I need to start now before I try to be a perfectionist again. So this challenge will be about getting started. Goal One: Get IT done! Write down my tasks for the week. If it can be done in less than five minutes, than just do it. Clarify the tasks, set deadlines, set priorities and organize Do it! So every week I’ll write a to-do-List and try to get stuff done. Goal Two: Exercise Aiming for three workouts a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I can try to get in a missed workout on Sunday, but I don’t want to make that a habit. Bonus: Try out some clubs. Goal Three: Study We’ll stay at 20 Hours a week for now and I’ll aim for 100 hours in five weeks. At the end of the challenge I want to have written at least 10 pages. I know the beginning is always a little harder. So I’m not aiming for 20 pages yet. Some old habits I had accomplished and how well I did last month: - Self care once a dayI did manage my stress level and still got a lot of stuff done. Nice.- 5 portions of freggies ✔ - 3l of water ✔ - count calories ✘- no snacks… Only birthday cakes, if I get invited to any parties. ✘I think I ate quite well. But snacks were a problem. If I gain back weight, I’ll make that a goal again for sure. For now it seems to be ok.- morning routine 3 times a week (5 tibetans, yoga, sometines also stationary bike for 20 minutes. It depends on when I get up and how much time I've left) ✘- visit at least two sport classes a week (Tai Chi, Yoga, Aikido, ...) ✘- go out and walk at least 5km a day on 6 days a week ✘Didn’t do much sports last challenge. I got in only 12 workouts during the last five week challenge. There are positives every day and I am going to find them. Yesterday I called all the schools and got really frustrated because of various reasons. The last person I reached was really nice. She could help me with my paper, but she invited me to visit her school and have a look. I've always been intrested into "Sonderpädagogik", so I would love to check them out. She wished me luck with my paper. I was glad to hear another nice voice after so many frustrating conversations. I'm glad it worked out! I'm also glad to see you're taking time to relax. I know you work super-hard at this stuff, so taking some time for yourself to cool on down and relax is super important. The trick, then, is going to be hitting this next week hard to get back on track. I can see how it would be very tempting to just coast on how things are going, but remember: we're about building and maintaining habits around here, and right now you've got to get yours built back up. I wrote them a message to get more additional info. Than I would have Aikido on Monday and Friday. Monday would be the beginner's course and on Friday my regular class starts again next week. But usually I'm meeting friends on Monday to watch anime. At least we're planning to do so. The last few meetings have been canceled last minute. That's why I considered doing something else with my Monday evening. The didn't answer my mail and when I had a look at my schedule I wasn't sure, if I could fit it all in. wow, it's already week 4. My sensei was late and we had some new intrested students here, so I decided to show them some basics in Tai Chi and explain what we're doing every week. And they really liked it. In the end my teacher was late for one hour. So I was glad I stepped in.
