RedStone
Hai everyoneee Thanks for celebrating zero week with me!!! (note to self: propose zero week holiday. argue with friends which day could celebrate a week. win the argument. serve fancy cheese and meats to smooth it all over.) Good news! I'm not gonna be a dorkus m'flakus! 21 hours ago, RedStone said: 1: Call the new doctor 2: Call the new therapist 3: Take my car in for inspection 4: Get the heavy bag set up 5: That's it! No number five. Doctor was surprisingly easy, I got an appointment for this Friday! And it's right in the next town near work. Waaaay better than the other doc I was seeing, 30 mins away (not that much...) but she kept sending me to specialists in Connecticut. Thanks, no thanks. Left a message with a new therapist who specializes in ED and is in a city I want to spend more time in. This one is 30 mins away... but for therapy I'd kind of rather it not be someone I'm going to run into at the grocery in my small town Heavy bag - boom! This showed up on Sunday, in pieces, and was in danger of just living in a heap in the newly straightened up training room. I tried to deal with the bag itself (yo yo minichallenge!) but as soon as I started loading it my hip pains were like, newp. (I'm having some deep hip pain as of last night. Giving it some TLC and a few days of time before worrying too much.) Honestly it feels good to have most of the list done already LOL feels, as hoped, like starting things off on a good note. Perhaps this week will help shape the rest of the challenge. Promise of more snow made me feel a little low, and here we are, with some sun shining, and I feel a bit uplifted. Might be a good idea to include some sort of happy making goal in there since there are a few more snowy predictions 7 Quote ~Peace Be The Journey~ one - two - three - four - five - six - seven- eight - nine - ten - eleven - twelve - thirteen - fourteen - fifteen - sixteen - seventeen - eighteen - nineteen - twenty - twenty one - twenty two - twenty three - twenty four - twenty five - twenty six - twenty seven - twenty eight - twenty nine - thirty - thirty one - thirty two - thirty three - thirty four - thirty five - thirty six Link to comment

I didn't want teachers or other students to see me going in there. I didn't want strangers to know about it. Especially because students sometimes can be odd about it. In the city it wasn't such a big deal, tho I did run into one of my therapists once, we walked by each other on a street and kinda nodded and waved... but it sort of takes away from the uninhibited anonymous element in a small town. And I really want to spend more time in the city of New Paltz anywayyy... so it's kind of a win win! 3 hours ago, Luciana Valerosa Culming said: Can't you ask your significant other to help you with this one? DEF. I told him last night and he even expressed interest in using the bag! _____ Happy Pi day everyone! And RIP to Stephen Hawking :'( Just a quick hello before I start a long-ish spread out day which includes a pool session and teaching (on the fly) a self defense fusion class. I got my March trade magazine and guess what article is on the cover! A thing about set point weight!! I've been very stressed about how the intuitive eating ideas apply to work, and so far my studies haven't really helped my head space in that department. The article is predominantly about the conversation, tho there is some information on the idea of how set points come to be, and some decent insights on why honoring nutritional choices over junk food can be part of that, something that's difficult to approach as it makes the conversation on "simply being without restriction", skewed. Choices don't have to equal restriction. Food for thought. 2 1 Quote ~Peace Be The Journey~ one - two - three - four - five - six - seven- eight - nine - ten - eleven - twelve - thirteen - fourteen - fifteen - sixteen - seventeen - eighteen - nineteen - twenty - twenty one - twenty two - twenty three - twenty four - twenty five - twenty six - twenty seven - twenty eight - twenty nine - thirty - thirty one - thirty two - thirty three - thirty four - thirty five - thirty six Link to comment

YESSSSS I suggested we have some sort of luau at work since everyone is kind of meh from all this. I'm def more up than I was last week, and the sun today really was nice. (You got it way worse too... I really shouldn't complain!!) _____ Meanwhile, I can say I'm having one hell of a zero week. It started off kinda pretty rough, but I'm glad I gave myself those tasks to finish straight off! I may even structure my challenge with some weekly goals... it was way more effective than the last few months (where I have tasked myself the EXACT SAME JOBS and just didn't do anything with it) and look! I did the things! Wins are contagious. I'm really happy I did the things On 3/12/2018 at 8:25 PM, RedStone said: 1: Call the new doctor 2: Call the new therapist 3: Take my car in for inspection 4: Get the heavy bag set up 5: That's it! I also had my meeting today with the GM of the club and it all went really well! I was so annoyed about work a few days ago... and now I'm feeling way better about mostly everything that was stressing me out. I've been resistant about the management track, but I feel really good about everything we talked about, so I'm going to go forward with something that sort of... resembles a promotion? Way to set the bar zero week! Maybe I should just call it here but nooooo. We're just getting going! Started out kinda awful, was busy the whole time, finished on a high note, but I'm tired. It's St Patrick's day weekend, and I have some people wanting to hang out. I don't like big crowds in small spaces (obvious logistical problems for me) and honestly, I'm people'd out. I'm going to see how I feel later on today, but I think I'm going to call it for the weekend and have a quiet introvert break instead. I'm thinking about how I want to structure this challenge, and I might do a theme each week since zero week worked out so well, and also I need more enamel pins for my back pack (my button pins will just NOT stay put), so a little incentives jam would be good... maybe a little pin for the first week down, then the second week I get a pin for another task, PLUS a third pin if I do week one's task again as well, and so on. ALL THE PINS!!! I really love these, and maybe ya'll have recommendations for enamel pins I might like?
