ybryan
Hey guys,Story:Name is Bryan, 23 (almost 24 !!!). From Dallas, TX.Been a skinny kid most of my life. From 7th grade to freshmen year of college, I stayed at 125 lbs for 5'7". Went through a few periods of trying to get into the gym and wandering around not knowing what to do. I gained some weight last year just hitting the gym consistently during the summer but lost it all going through some depressing times. In January I was 140 lbs and started the 9to5 work life after graduating and gained 20 lbs of bad weight. Got out-muscled and out-hustled playing flag football and I said no more. And I did NOT like the belly I was starting to see...Started reading nerdfitness 8 weeks ago and it's been awesome. Never liked doing barbell/compound exercises cause they just looked difficult. But I realized everybody gotta start somewhere, so I just hit it. It helped that my work gym is all full of enginerds, so no intimidation by meatheads. Before:Resting heart rate - 83+ Bench - Rep 10x 95 lbsSquats - 10x body weightWeight - 162 lbsPullups - 6 repsAfter: (7 weeks later)Resting heart rate - 63 bpm!!!Bench - Rep 10x 155 lbsSquats - 10x 135Deadlift - 5x 185Weight - 159Pullups - 15 repsCurrent Routine:MWF - Lift - One core, one push, one pull, and one leg exercise.
