Day 29- dust off

 

the heat has killed my drive. I managed to drag myself into a workout yesterday. Eating is being tracked consistently. Even if it’s not precisely where it needs to be. You fall, you dust off and get up again. 

 

Workout- calesthenics

Goal review- 30 day mark. 

 

Weight down 5lbs! People are also noticing I’m looking better. Resting heart rate is consistently in the low 60s, down from 70s. 

 

Meal planning isnt militant, but there’s an overall consistency. I wake up with a general idea of what I’m planning to eat. I don’t have screws all the way down, which means I’m not anxious when I eat. Using Lose It, I’m keeping calorie intake on track. 

 

Soda intake is down to around 2.5. 

 

I’m doing 3 cardio based workouts a week, and 2-3 resistance. I’m letting back discomfort guide me. Tight and tense back means I skip. So far I’m still seeing improvements. 

 

Writing isn’t hitting high reflective mode, but I’m getting multiple data entry points done. Which counts. So there’s my next improvement area.

Day 61- dis bullshit. I’ve had a terrible month. I’m not doing a dramatic “reboot”, but I’m clearly slacking and not forward progressing. June sucked. 

 

A reminder of where I’m going next-

 

30 day Goals-

 

1) 5 distinct workout days

 

2) Soda to one daily. (fizzy water is fine)

 

3) drop 5 pounds 

 

4) increase water intake to 64 oz daily 

 

5) one deep thinks writing entry per week
