Mad Hatter
Ohai! Last challenge was a full on adulting challenge so now I'm swinging around 180 degrees with this un-challenge. Un-goals Climbing Just a reminder to have fun and try hard. Try all the jumpy jumps! Fun stuff Do it! Preferably daily buuut whatevs. Backbends, handstands, crow PvP. Maybe take out my slackline or hula hoop. STUFF! Go outside Already doing a great job of this, but max out the current weather, because this is Finland, and winter is coming. Ice cream diet Because an ice cream a day keeps the doctor away? Ok maybe not, but I do want to use my cute little single portion ice cream maker. HAPPY CHALLENGE EVERYONE! 6 Quote Link to comment

How does that little machine work? That reminds me that I should re-stock some pistachio ice cream You freeze a small bowl and then there's a little paddle attachment that churns the ice cream. It takes about 5-10 minutes because of the small bowl size. And I have two bowls so I can make two different flavours! My parents gave it to me as it just wasn't enough ice cream for two. This was in December and I STILL haven't even tried it!! Mmmm pistachio ice cream... 4 hours ago, NeverThatBored said: Ohai! I can't wait to hear about all the tasty ice cream flavors you make. Mad Hatter
W1D1 For being a Monday I have to say it was pretty great! For one thing we didn't have the stupid Monday meeting which meant I could leave work at a normal time. I started walking home but then I bought some floor cushions on my way and they were too awkward to carry so I only walked about a third of the way back. They're very comf though so I'm super happy. Now I'm much more inclined to sit in other positions than my default squat! I didn't even consider that the floor surface might affect my sitting position, which in retrospect is rather obvious, but hey live and learn. Then I played with crows for the PvP, and I did some handstand training. It went much better this time, kick up consistency was still pretty poor but it felt a lot more deliberate and less flaily today, and like I'm slowly finding my groove again. My reaction speed is much slower than before, and I'm over correcting a lot more often, but hopefully that will calm down with some regular practice. I also spent a few minutes on HS drills. And I did all of two inverts on my pole haha. After that I got ice cream, because I didn't want to fail on day one. Alas, it was store bought, but hey I'm not perfect. I went for a lovely barefoot walk in the forest, where I picked young blueberry leaves, wild raspberry leaves and spruce shoots. I made tea out of some of it, and some I added to the very simple salad I had for dinner. Delicious!! And it makes me feel all natury and stuff. I also picked some lilacs and my living room smells lovely now. Climbing 0/0 Fun stuff 1/1 Handstands, arm balances, pole Go outside 1/1 Ice cream diet 1/1 8 Quote Link to comment

I'm pretty much furniture free and until now I've mainly been sitting on a rug or directly on the floor, which is comfy enough for me, but it's not homely enough, if that makes sense? The cushions made a huge difference! Yum, I should make coconut milk ice cream too! 3 hours ago, RogueLibrarian said: W0D1! Are ... are you a hobbit But I wanna start now! Mad Hatter
W0D2 (Fine, I'll change it to the actual week. ) I need a routine for my working from home days guys! Today I screwed up by forgetting to eat - or rather I didn't know what I felt like eating so I procrastinated for so long I could barely function anymore. And then I got all cold and tired and miserable. It was better after I ate something but it took me a while to recover. In the end I didn't do anything active, except for a long stroll along the shoreline. I left at 10 pm, and came back 11.30 pm. It wasn't even dark. But it was lovely. Mad Hatter
W0D3 Had to pick up my ID from the police station which meant I ended up only working a short day. Yes! A lot of braining was needed though so when I got home I crashed a little. But only for a short time, then I played with crow pose and handstands. Fun stuff! My handstands are feeling better and better, in particular my shoulders have already stopped doing the side to side wiggle and my scap HS pushups feel pretty normal now. I tried some bridges afterwards but my left shoulder was however not very happy with that notion, not without a warm up at least. I really hope I can squeeze in a proper backbending session soon. Went for an evening stroll after dinner, picked some leaves for tea. I also picked some lily of the valley, which I paid dearly for by getting my butt stung by nettles. I was even wearing pants! Super thin ones but still, not cool plants. Not cool. Then I made raspberry ice cream and all was good again. The end.
