Hi

 

So there were some setbacks. I'm trying to deal with them and get back on track.

 

1. Selfcare

- Try talking to friends and not try to handle everything alone

- take breaks

- DON'T blame yourself

 

2. Exercise

- 3 workouts a week

- go to Aikido on Fridays

- everything else is a bonus

 

3. Study

- do a little every day

- 20 hours a week would be a nice

- 5 pages a week would be ideal

 

4. Snacks

no snacks didn't work. I'll try once a week this time

 

5. Art

at least one piece

Day 1

 

1) I was afraid of seeing my old therapist. Last time took a lot of energy. I'm not sure, if I have the resources. On the other hand I'm going there to feel better again. And because I don't want to be a burden to my friends and family. So I thought about that for a while and then starting gaming to get my mind off things.

 

2) No exercise yet. Only walked to the station. 2,5km

 

3) So study didn't really happen. It was my bf's day off and I decided to take a day off, too. Only made a too do list for the next week. You have to start somewhere, right?

 

4) I didn't want to snack on his popcorn, but I really didn't like the movie. Deadpool2

The first one was better. I hated the plot and a lot of gags were okeyish. But I'll remember "I'm fine" "You're F.I.N.E"

 

5) no art yet. But I was thinking of an idea. During Aikido my sensei often says "Locker lassen!" I want to do something about that quote. Umso lockerer ihr lasst, umso mehr Kraft spürt ihr. So yeah, there will be German quotes in my art.

 

The next few days I'll be with a good friend. She's writing her master thesis, so I hope we get to write together. And I need time off of my daily routine. The last two weeks I've been procrastinating a lot. My other friend, who failed her exam last week, hasn't reached out for me yet. I hope she is all right. Last week she didn't want to talk about it, so I told her, she could reach out for me, when she's feeling like it. We wanted to make a plan for her. There are still two tests left for her... :/ It's triggering my anxieties. I think she is really smart. She said, she couldn't talk properly during the exam. Couldn't get her ideas across. Damn.

My teacher does them daily. She says, they energize her and showed us a breathing technique you can perform together with the rites. I like to meditate afterwards.

Day 3:

 

1) Selfcare: I took breaks and did something fun in the evening.

2) Exercise: 5 Tibetans

3) Study: Worked on my paper for five hours. It was a productive day. I finished preparing a big part. Tomorrow I can go back to writing. :)

Day 4:

 

1) Selfcare: Talked about my worries and tried to find a solution for my problem, that'll help me.

2) Exercise: Did the 5 Tibetans in the morning and meditated for a few minutes afterward. This time I had a closer look at my form and it was more exhausting. I also did a booty training in the afternoon.

Day 5:

 

1) Selfcare:I decided to find out, what's good for me for once and do it. I've been caring about somebody elses needs and wants long enough. I should take care of myself as well and find out, how I can reach my goals without burning out.

2) Exercise: Did the 5 Tibetans in the morning and meditated for a few minutes afterward. And I also did the  booty training again before lunch. I try to find the spot, where the reps are exhausting and I can hold my form at the same time. So I'm increasing the reps slowly over the next few days. I don't want to have massive DOMS from squats again, so I'm careful.

There has been going on a lot the last few days and my thoughts are scattered. I need some tranquility.

 

in the end I was to tired in the evening. So only 2,5 hours today.

We made Ramen from skretch. It was really jummy. Just took a lot of time to prepare the broth. I'm glad my friends agreed to try it out. :)
