JediNickD Posted September 6, 2018 Report Share Posted September 6, 2018 Ugh. Hurt my knee yesterday. It is swollen from a stumble and twist, then not resting it. Instead, I did some sword fighting with my daughter where she clubbed it repeatedly, then we went to karate where I learned my Blue stripe for Brown II belt. It was three two leg kicks: a scissor kick with a stomp and a screw kick, a jumping two leg snap kick, and a jumping two leg side kick. The scissor kick was fun and easy to grasp. The jumping kicks were much more difficult and not as much fun. I iced the knee over a game of Madden after the kids were in bed. Iced again in the car on my way to the gym. I took it easy there with stretching and core exercises. I don't think I'll be able to manage any squats on that knee. I have other exercises to focus on, but quantity will be effected. Grumble grumble.
