Not gonna lie, that's impressive. I'd do 80 over 5 minutes or so, with a 16kg KB and be pouring in sweat, so that number is just... Yeah, well done.

If I'm only doing small amount, I can push out sets of 50... but today was just 10 reps, breathe, 10 reps, breathe etc...

Week 2

Fri 17 Aug:

 

Training:

Dynamic Lower.

 

-Box Squats with SSB + 20kg bands: 15 doubles at 90kg, then worked up to 1 at 155kg (PR). Injury is barely registering now.

-Sumo Block Pulls: 10 singles at 140kg.

-Powercleans: worked up to 1 single at 72.5kg.

-Narrow Stance Box Squats with SSB: 8s at 95kg

-Back extensions and abs.

 

Conditioning:

- 500 (not a typo) overhead press with a 10kg med ball. Took 35 mins. Mostly in sets of 10 once my arms were fatigued.

 

All the other Stuff:

-All good with the supplements so far.

-Russian: Nope.

-5 mins of schwifty hackysacking.

Sat 18 Aug:

 

Training:

Repetition Upper.

 

-Wide grip bench: 8s up to 95 kg (up 10kg in 2 weeks).

-Closegrip bench: 5s up to 102.5kg (New rep PR).

-Pullups: 5s.

-1 arm KB OHP: 8s with 20kg KB.

-Pushdowns and Curls.

 

Conditioning:

- Done. 22 mins of box squats and box jumps. Probably should have only taken 12-15 mins but I kept getting a wicked lowerback pump/cramp.

 

All the other Stuff:

-All good with the supplements so far.

-Russian: Did my last minute cramming and about to head off to my lesson. Edit: brain hurty, lesson hard.

-Hackysacking done.

I think because of the similarities with spelling, my brain can't file them correctly with their meanings... I've gotten them wrong for the past 3 weeks and it's annoying me.

Гмммм... трудная группа. Часто, "казаться/показаться" находиться во фразе "мне кажеться/казалось..." (it seems/seemed to me...), а "оказываться/оказаться" во фразе "оказалось, что...." (it turned out that....). Так, вы можете практыроваить сказать фразы "мне казалось..., а оказалось, что...."

 

Мне казалось, что русский - легкий язык, а оказалось, что трудный.

 

Is whoever giving you the verbs in imperfective/perfective groupings? Those aren't four separate verbs, per se.

You are correct... I know it's only 2 verbs but in my head all 4 words get mixed around

Max Effort Lower.

 

-Box Squats: top single of 180kg - most weight I've had my back for about 5 months - Yay!

-Conventional Block Pulls: 3s at 160kg - was a bit careful with these because it was conventional pulls that broke my intercostals.

-Squat with SSB: 5s at 95kg

-Straight leg DLs from floor: 8s up to 90kg.

-TNG Bench: 3s at 95kg.

-Abz

 

Conditioning:

- Done. 15 mins of KB Clean and pressing.

 

All the other Stuff:

-Supps = good.

-Russian: None

-Hackysacking done.

-Supps: Been a bit slack and will have to choke them all down with dinner.

-Hackysacking done. Finally found a pair of shoes that gives me flatter surfaces to kick with.

- Bench vs 10kg chains: 8's at 80kg + chains.

- Push Press: 5s at 60kg.

- Pendlay Rows: 5s up to 80kg.

- Comp Squats: 5s up to 95kg.

- JM Presses: 8s.

 

Conditioning:

- Done. 13 mins of Lunges and TRX Rows (in sets of 40, 30, 20, 10).

 

All the other Stuff:

-Supps: Good.

-Russian: None - Ugh... MUST. DO. THIS. TOMORROW.

Rest Day!

 

Conditioning:

- I did something a little different... instead of conditioning I painted our dining room and cleaned out the turtle tank. It took me all day and I didn't even get a chance to eat.

 

All the other Stuff:

-Supps: Good.

-Russian: A little - I will cram some more in before bed.

-Hackysacking NOT done.

Fri 24 Aug:

 

Training:

Dynamic Lower. Straight out murdered today's workout... much speed, very strong...

 

- Box squats with SSB vs 20kg bands: 12 doubles at 95 + bands (45 secs rest between doubles), then worked up to a single at 160kg + bands (PR! - up 5kg over last week).

- Speedy DLs: 15 singles (45 secs rest) starting at 120kg and finishing at 155kg.

- Leg Press: found my 15RM at 160kg.

- Back extensions with 20kg: 8's

-Abs

 

Conditioning:

- 10 rounds of 3 Powerclean + push jerk, 5 pushups  in 16 mins.

 

All the other Stuff:

-Supps: Good.

-Russian: A little.

-Hackysacking done.
