RedStone
Well, I got my letter and it's time to go to school! I can't wait!!! But before I head off to Hogwarts, I'll need to get organized. So - a trip to Diagon Alley for supplies, then I have to get my plans in place! I will be traveling this weekend - Friday through next Tuesday. Zero week will be getting my shit together for my trip, and getting my schedule organized for studying for when I get back. I've been doing extremely well with time based scheduling and will be using that model for studying. Here's what I'm doing for this week, just to keep the travel anxiety at bay. 1: Tuesday 2-3pm - Finish dress for wedding 2: Wednesday 9-11am - hair 3: Wednesday 6-8pm - pedicure/pack 4: Thursday 1-4pm - Pack I also picked up a new bujo for this new chapter in my life which will organize the goals for the next few challenges. I want to fill it with study schedule spreads, future business planning and I dunno what else. Maybe I'll include some of the process of coaching that I'm doing for myself as well. Any suggestions for study/business spreads would be greatly appreciated! I figure I can work on some spreads during the flights and during down time on the road etc. So that's it for now! HAPPY ZERO EVERYONE AND I'LL SEE YOU AT THE SORTING CEREMONY!!! 10 Quote ~Peace Be The Journey~ one - two - three - four - five - six - seven- eight - nine - ten - eleven - twelve - thirteen - fourteen - fifteen - sixteen - seventeen - eighteen - nineteen - twenty - twenty one - twenty two - twenty three - twenty four - twenty five - twenty six - twenty seven - twenty eight - twenty nine - thirty - thirty one - thirty two - thirty three - thirty four - thirty five - thirty six Link to comment

Sigh.... I have issues. Yeah... I'm a bag person. I love bags. I even love making bags. Right now I have 3 backpacks - one that I've had for years and studied with while I was on foot a few years ago, broke from the weight of the textbooks and I patched up again and again. One is a very small utility one I used to use for diving meets in college and is now my day pack for hiking (big enough for a small survival kit, water bottle and snacks), and the last is my proper hiking pack that I used as a main gym bag last year but plan on converting for study (It's way heavy duty), so... I guess I can get a new duffel maybe? (The big collapsable duffel I have now is like an endless pit... not great for functional day to day.) Practicality first right??? And luck favors the prepared! I'm sort of a notebook junkie and keep different books for different things. For me, the bujo is mostly for organizing and accountability - the process of making it and updating it really drives a lot of the ideas home, especially for scheduling. (I have a different day planner for work appointments) Soft cover composition notebook is for stream of consciousness and mental health work, and any big college rule notebooks are for note taking - I'm not super picky about the type so long as they're the basic letter+ size. _____ Speaking of, I guess I need to get a few weekly spreads together before I get home! Holiday is in effect, I slept sub hours yesterday and woke up with puffy eyes today! Iced em down and had an anti-inflammatory breakfast (Not that different from normal) But from here on it it should be cake, free day and good enough hotel fitness center (DBs, dual cable stacks and benches), and the wedding tonight. After that we're making our way up to Omaha tomorrow to see friends, stay over night, then we're on our own again until our flight Tuesday afternoon. So I'm looking at some fun stuff we can do - toy & miniature museum (Spike and Billy Ball would love that... they're here too), a rose garden we can wander, maybe a brewery tour at Boulevard. I'm thinking about specific challenge goals for this round. Here's a brain stormy list of things I'm considering: SAME AS BEFORE Morning routine - meditation/mental exercises, flow/stretching movement, handstand. Evening bedtime - lying down in bed by 10:30 2X days NO alcohol per week (going great these last few weeks, getting easier, having less on on days as well) NEW Update bujo - schedule study times - do it over the weekends STUDY as per schedule *Schedule Walks *HIIT activation and/or finishers More money management podcasts/blogs as recommended by friends. *my work schedule changed and I'm no longer getting paid to cardio, and it's starting to be a very low priority to schedule into my week otherwise. It's easy to add intervals to workouts and mentally beneficial to schedule walks around study times and locations. It might take some trial and error to figure out how much is just right, but I would reap some benefits from not ignoring it. _____ By the by, I took a few bench triples at 100# the other day! I rarely reach for the bar (over DBs) since last years shoulder issues, and my prior 1rm (pre-injury) was 105 in comp, 110 that I only hit once in practice. Feeling good about the progress! 3 Quote ~Peace Be The Journey~ one - two - three - four - five - six - seven- eight - nine - ten - eleven - twelve - thirteen - fourteen - fifteen - sixteen - seventeen - eighteen - nineteen - twenty - twenty one - twenty two - twenty three - twenty four - twenty five - twenty six - twenty seven - twenty eight - twenty nine - thirty - thirty one - thirty two - thirty three - thirty four - thirty five - thirty six Link to comment
