I'm also running with the mini challenge theme, and going full on Hogwarts this challenge!! Does anyone else automatically hear the theme song in their head when they see that gif? I've done really well at not eating out though. This goal is actually mostly financial, but also helps with healthy eating, so that's a bonus! I am pretty terrible at remembering names, but more so I'm terrified of using the wrong one. So I've developed a bad habit over the years of never using people's names, even if I know them for sure. Apparently people like hearing their names, and there have been a few times where I'm pretty sure people thought I didn't know their name because I didn't use it. Not exactly the best way to build relationships an make people feel good about themselves. I was gone all day, so didn't get a chance to really do any cleaning. Did great on the sugar front though, and pretty well with the names. That goal is somewhat subjective for what counts as an actual opportunity to greet someone, but I think I know. So I ended up waiting around for over an hour. I could have survived without it, but I was frustrated and gave in. Tons of driving, overtired, and lots of delicious food. The week as a whole wasn't too bad though... Didn't do so hot in my studies, but I still Won Quidditch for the week, and am ahead in house points, so that's good. Classes should be better this coming week. My wife made delicious meatballs for dinner because when we got back on the weekend we found our freezer door left open a crack! The meat thawed, but was still refrigerator cold, so we thought it better to cook it than re-freeze it. I met all my goals, and walked a ton! Almost 2 hours. I'll admit the calories are a rough guess, but should be close. I've actually been able to stay away from sugar fairly easily the last couple days too, which has been nice. I'll take it while I can get it! Some pre dinner chips and salsa tipped me over my plan. Teancum Posted August 26, 2018 Author Report Share Posted August 26, 2018 Week 2 - August 25 Classes Transfiguration - Eat less than 2250 calories/day - 5/7 Defense Against the Dark Arts - Days without eating out by myself - 6/7 History of Magic - Write in journal daily - 6/7 Charms - Clean the house for 10 minutes each day - 6/7 Quidditch Goal Points - Days with one or less servings of sugar - 50pts Snitch Progress - 3 days in the week with no sugar - 4/3 - 150pts Other Team Goal Points - Extra servings of sugar - 30pts Other Team Snitch Points - Each day less than 3 no sugar days - 0pts House Points My House Points - People greeted by name - 29pts Other House Points - People not greeted by name - 15pts Today was pretty good - had a bit of extra sugar, but not too much, and got to play some ultimate Frisbee for a bit, which was fun. We'll see how the weight is doing tomorrow - I feel like I've been going ok for the last couple months, but my weight really hasn't changed much, and neither has my sizing. I'm not too worried, just a bit impatient I think haha. Did really well with my sugar goal, and the other goals worked out pretty well too. Unfortunately weight was essentially the same. I just need to remind myself that I'm building habits this time, not going for a bunch of weight loss at once. That's hopefully the end result, but I really shouldn't worry about it too much in the meantime.
