First, ouch.

 

Second, nope. No such thing as failure. Tear up your old goals and set new ones. Unless you intentionally injured yourself in order to weasel out of lifting, injury doesn't mean you failed. It's a bad fluke, painful, and puts you in an entirely new situation that invalidates your old goals. So you reevaluate your new situation, set new goals, and you get right back to it.
