LGBT and acronyms? Sounds like you need @RES to help out.

Kindness is the only K word I can come up with...not sure if that's what you're going for here but it could work, or I may need to go read a few challenges of yours to catch up   Maybe after Pride this weekend  :D

Good work, @RES!

You win rubber gloves and a vial of citronella oil!!!

In case anyone wants to brush up on being freaked out, here's Wikipedia on mosquito borne illnesses.

I like kindness, personally and in the name. Not certain it works, yet. We will figure it out! Thank you for your suggestions.

Today was good.

Exhausting, and at one point in court I thought I might throw up (for real, not a clever saying), but all is smooth.

I prayed on and off most of the day. It helped. The Universe loves me and wants me to be happy, even when I can't see how it will all fit together.

Talked with the counselor and had a meeting after court, then a bath.

I like the job.

I'm looking forward to going back tomorrow.

Hands down, the stone cold best part of the day was listening to Funky Cold Medina on the way in this morning.

I love the story of the girl and the sword. Totally fantastic.

Court sounds like a nightmare, I am really glad you are finding ways to wind down from it

I've never watched or read Handmaid's tale because it hits a little too close to possibility and reality. I am so tired of being less than and reduced to a pretty procreating appliance by government and marketing. Ugh.

Court as a nightmare has been a Marathon theme. It continues. Thank you for your support, it really does make a difference to me.

Final round of reviews for the literary magazine are complete. This weeks project for library school is turned in. Critiques for MFA workshop manuscripts are complete.

The job is great.

The drive is wearing me out. Elon needs to be getting busy with the final plans for the driverless cars.

There was an incident of a transgender middle school student being denied shelter in a locker room during an Active ShooterDrill. So wrong.

Also, my ex wrote to tell me that visitation for tonight won't happen because no one is available.

All this before my morning tea.

Bradley Cooper's reinvention of A Star is Born is absolutely pitch perfect. I loved the step-shift to authenticity as the center. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. And the performances are everything I didn't know I needed and now can't live without.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.

Hoping you are doing well through the storm, @RES .

May there be peace and calm in your heart no matter how dark and windy the night.

Thank you, we've been spared it seems at this point, it seems to be focused on the other side of the state :(  Not that I want it here, but not anywhere would be better!

Dang.

The challenge up and dissolved.

I'm full of updates, but super busy, of course.

The out of town job commute is too much. Something is going to have to give, and the jeep is complaining.

I'm sick.

Scheduling Visitation with Vivian this week was beyond complicated, but it happened despite late communication, argumentativeness, and flash flooding.

We played Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. A good time was had by all.

I cat sat. It was nice. I'll miss our several times a day interludes for poetry and tea on the couch.

I rewatched "Walk the Line," and it was just as good as it was when I saw it in the theatre.

I want a love like Johnny and June.

I want to totally redo the arrangement on this song so that it's folk and not country:

The cold turned into the flu. I'm still miserable, but starting to recover.

I know - I'm a whole challenge behind.

I got a new job offer and accepted. I quit the out of town job. Also, I've been up close and personal with my needs for honesty and transparency. The insights are interesting, and reveal much about my thoughts on power, accountability, partnership and ambition.

I dog sat this week. He liked reading a detective novel.

I had a hard time with the news this week.

I simply couldn't do nothing after Saturday's attack.

So in a campaign to #LoveOutLoud, I took chalk to the closest synagogue and made public statements of love, support, and alliance.

Putting this here, where it belongs, for current and future reference.

I have a bad habit of picking people who are not exactly supportive or even in my best interests, couple of them I even married

This.

At this point, I'm done choosing.

The only sane approach for me is to let my friends find someone who has:

Great compassion and patience

Super-honor code

Playfulness

Tenderness

Passion (and eyes, you know the kind . . . .)

Creativity

Independence

Physical strength ( able to swoop up 140 pounds easily)

Spirituality and clean living a plus.

O who am I kidding?

I'll just take my nun vows now.
