Ayrihn
Hi Rebels - I'm jumping in mid-challenge because @TimovieMan said there's no rule that says I can't. Ok so for the next TWO weeks I am committing to the following: Drink 60oz of water daily Keep a refillable water bottle with me Track water consumption in Fitbit app Coffee/tea doesn't count! Eat salad for one meal daily Dressing OK (see 3rd sub-bullet) Grilled fish/poultry/meat OK Avoid croutons/fried toppings and sugary dressing Memorize one Scripture verse per week (total of 2 verses) Complete the NF Beginner Bodyweight Workout at least 2x a week Schedule time on calendar Remember to bring gym clothes Track progress on workout sheet Post progress photos each week in my Daily Battle Log - Be Strong and Courageous Thank you @TimovieMan for the tip, I'm super excited that I don't have to wait so long to start! 1 Quote My Epic Quest: Faith Conquers Fear Link to comment
TimovieMan
Doing something small for two weeks is better than doing nothing while waiting for a new challenge. 1 Quote Active challenges: Balancing sleep and gaming | Walk to Mordor - (spreadsheet) | DailyDare 2023 threads: Challenge VIII | IX 2018-19 & 2021 threads: Battle log | Challenge I | II | III | IV | V | VI | VII Link to comment
Harriet
Good luck with your challenge! 2 weeks is still a good amount of time to start establishing a new habit. Do you have an overarching goal the quests are helping you reach? Lady Amezan
YES! Two weeks is a great length of time to make some changes. Your goals sound realistic and wonderfully specific. I want to establish healthier habits overall, set an example for my kiddos, and change myself so I am stronger and fitter (because weight is only part of it)! I'd say I want to lose 40 more lbs, but I don't want to get discouraged by the scale as I build muscle and lose fat. So for now focusing on exercise and what I put into my body, and then the rest will come. 1 Quote My Epic Quest: Faith Conquers Fear Link to comment

Harriet
Great mindset! Yeah, behaviour-related goals are really good for when the scales aren't doing what you want. Which is basically always.
