Hi all, still have to sum up last challenge, but since it's Monday already and new challenge starts today here a draft:

1) post twice a week (otherwise I am going to lose momentum because you guys are such a good support)

2) cook once a week

3) prepare breakfast in advance for working days (excluding today, when I am away and the day after I am back)

4) no sugars in the afternoon

5) https://darebee.com/challenges/ninja-challenge.html I CAN FIND 30 seconds per day!!!

6) Do "meditation en croix" on Saturdays (this is a meditative/prayful dance)

7) Check on Serena twice a week (details omitted for privacy reasons)

8) Look after myself 1h a week (this can be anything, from meditation to dancing, to meeting a friend to a bubble bath)

During this challenge will happen:

- treasure hunt birthday challenge for my bf

- dancing retreat

- I will go to

- I will visit my bf best friend in hospital (or at home) - if possible

- I might put an offer on a house

2) cook once a week - 1/1 - completed!

Ehm, the plan was to cook as a date night, but we were both full and nauseous (some bug going around?) so we... well I don't kiss and tell, but we totally kissed and hugged... I froze the marinated meat for future use. Maybe I (we) get to cook Sunday night

I am at a dance retreat from Thursday evening to Sunday lunch, so small changes to the challenge due to canteen and physical needs are in place. I am proud to say that I sticked to no sugars in the afternoon on Thursday even if I didn't get dinner and there was a packed of cookies there. I take the win even if today I ate 2 dessert after dinner and cookies with tea and coffee 3 times!

Weekly goals - Week 1

1) post twice a week - 2/2 - completed!

2) cook once a week - 0/1

6) Do "meditation en croix" on Saturdays 0/1

7) Check on Serena twice a week: 2/2 - completed and overdid it maybe

8) Look after myself 1h a week 1/1 (dancing retreat)

25 - 26 0october:

3) prepare breakfast in advance for working days : yes/n/a (2/3)

4) avoid sugars in the afternoon: yes and no (3/5)

5) https://darebee.com/challenges/ninja-challenge.html: yes! (3/5)

Things may not be going perfect, but it so sounds like you are making progress. And having a date/cooking night sounds like a great plan. Hopefully the dance retreat went well. I know you can do this.

Ok, the ninja challenge could go better, but at the moment I had cake in front of me and a binge crisis and in both I was not interested in sugars. I take that as a win!

Binge crisis is due to nearly breaking up with bf... he is in a very bad place financially and in response he hides away. I want to be on his side, but I need to have a chance!

Life now is... hectic: not too bad, not too good, but I would like a moment to just sit and do nothing. I am taking these moment in the morning snoozing my alarm and I don't believe they are working correctly.... I am starting to forget what day is it, what I have on, what is happening around me, who I know. I know it is just exhaustion but I can't get out of it!

Mid-challenge review

1) 100%

2) 100%

3) 70%

4) 64%

5) 42%

6) 50%

7) 100%

8) 100%

I will need to concentrate on the darebee challenge... how can I justify myself I am not doing 30 secs of exercise?

Plan: install a better timer app, put the exercise near the door to remind me.

I can do better or the "meditation en croix" too. I will factor in if I do it not on a Saturday, and I allow myself to recoup last week one this week if I skip some of my dancing (as is probable)

I will keep an eye on the sugars, not to let them slip.

Weekly goals - Week 3

1) post twice a week - 1/2

2) cook once a week - 0/1

6) Do "meditation en croix" on Saturdays 0/1

7) Check on Serena twice a week: 1/2 - she has got a job!!! that is step 1!!!

8) Look after myself 1h a week 0/1

4,5 November:

3) prepare breakfast in advance for working days : yes, yes (8/11)

4) avoid sugars in the afternoon: no, no (9/15) - ups, I had some sugars in the evening on Sunday that I was not even thinking about, and Monday went on an eating spree. I want to blame hormons, but who knows

5) https://darebee.com/challenges/ninja-challenge.html: no, no (6/15) - I noticed one thing: if the exercise require the floor I am skipping it... that is no good.

I went to the GP to discuss my blood test and it turns out that tiredness and weight gain were not caused by lack of vitamines or thyroid. Best bet is sleep apnea and pill and eating. This means that my excuses are discovered! I have to be eating better as the only things out of order were cholesterol and 'fat liver' test. More fish and pulses and less processed meals!
I.e. my 'cook once per week' should be better, even if I struggle with it already.

On a bighter note I execute the plan for 30 secs of exercise and we'll see how it goes.

Weekly goals - Week 3

Sorry I fell behind. I hope things are going better with bf. I know it can be frustrating when you want to help, but they don't want to show that they need help. Hopefully things get a bit better there.

I am glad the dr had some ideas about how to fix the tiredness. Hopefully it won't get too hard for you to make things better there. Overally, your doing really well challenge wise.

And I loved seeing the Banshees. That was cool. Thanks for sharing.

I will try to not fall so far behind again. Keep up the good work.

Things are great again, thanks! Sorry I forgot to mention it! I realised that I also had this 'I want to help because it will make me feel better and look good' that is probably very annoying!

I am glad you pass by when you can, but don't overstress it, I have seen your challenge and how busy you are!

No worries, I understand. Sometimes I do the same thing. I will sit there and probably annoy Hubby because I am trying to fix something that can't be fixed. I know he does it to me and drives me nuts when he does it.

Ok, against my best intentions I disappeared.

To be honest this time was a good excuse: Serena (who is a chosen sister) needed more than checking on her twice and all the time that was not work (and some of that too) was dealing with that. She left the country now to reunite with her family of origin. While it is very sad, I now had some time to recover physically, mentally, emotionally and will try a new challenge.
