For the uninitiated: I’m a dabbler in climbing, handstands, flexibility, pole and basically anything that gets me upside down. :) Currently injured, boooo, but learning new things!

This challenge is going to be a mix of fun goals from the previous challenge and some hard, but important, goals.

New goals

Be kind like Baymax

0*c8mdwxQCCRvGZFlK.gif

I started a bit of work on Intuitive Eating last challenge, but only on good days. This challenge I’m going give it a real honest attempt. Doesn’t mean I have to do it well, but it does mean I have to try to be kind to myself and gentle with my body. I’ll probably write more stuff in the IE support group than here though, just so you know.

Do IE work every day

Be systematic like Wasabi

Wasabi-big-hero-6-37691001-500-200.gif

Simple, do my rehab and fix my elbow, even if it means I can temporarily do even less than now.

Rehab 3x/week

Get to work like Hiro

My friend is trying to recruit me to his company and even though I don’t have a clue what I want to do with myself I have nothing to lose at this point. But I also need to take a look at what else is out there because even though the potential place has a nap room and a yoga room, it’s still not what I want to do and would only be a temporary switch.

Send out 3 CVs

Leftovers from previous challenge

Be inspired like Fred

Do half of the drawing exercises in the new book, since I got bored with the old one

Flow like Gogo

GoGo-Tomago-big-hero-6-37744463-500-200.

Complete the 10 last floor flow videos in the series

Experiment like Honey Lemon

XVvWvzX.gif

Try 6 new recipes from my cookbooks

Once more, with feeling

It is REALLY hard on bad days. What helps me is to remind myself bad days are temporary. Those feelings WILL pass.

Rehab is no fun guys. It was much better when I could pretend that it was fine (ish) and do handstands and stuff. :P Now the rehab is too triggering. But I put in work on both Monday and today so go me! Plus I did some work for my hips because my pelvis has been wonky for the past few days.

Other than that I haven't done much.

No wait, I took a Finnish lesson on Monday! Two of my friends from work are learning and I fell for their peer pressure haha. :D I'm still unsure whether I'm willing to commit right now but we'll see, it was kinda fun.

It's difficult to do what's necessary rather than what's fun, good on you for getting the rehab done.

Hatter! Sorry to hear rehab’s got you grounded, but glad you’re taking the time to heal right.

I’m also looking at potential job changes thanks to freinds’ recommendations, funny how things can just fall into your lap sometimes when you weren’t looking that hard.

haha, just goes to show how important it is to find the right friends.  Pick the wrong ones and you may find yourself turning into a responsible adult :P

Yeaaah trying to after procrastinating for such a long time...

That's awesome! The problem with this job is that honestly it'd only be for a salary boost and not much more.

What? Dancers neeeeeever let injuries fester forever before taking care of them, I can’t relate at all.

Ooh gotcha. At least the salary boost could lead to higher savings and more options to not work or work for lower pay down the line?

That's true. But honestly pretty much anywhere I go next should involve a big pay rise, I'm so underpaid right now. At least any new job in the same industry. (I would've asked for a pay rise but I feel like I've been slacking so much lately it might not be appropriate haha. It's not like I'm not producing, I'm just not working anywhere near my capacity. Partly boredom, partly lack of concrete work, partly they get what they pay for.) But we'll see, maybe I'm being too judgemental towards this job. It doesn't hurt talking to them at least.
