Manarelle
Having a world boss interrupt your quest is extremely off-putting. Glad you're starting to feel a little better, hope the off-kilter bucket-head debuff clears up soon. Looks like you're still clocking wins on the sleep though? 1 Quote Manarelle the Level 55 Amazon Assassin Gryffindarling and Sith Acolyte, somehow. Elennare
Yeah, sleep was the only thing I managed to keep doing. Thankfully, the bucket-head debuff wore off near the end of the day yesterday. Still took it easy, though. Day 23 16/28 - food 15/28 - water 15/28 - exercise 4/8 – skating 17/28 - sleep Went to the grocery store before work, so I brought lunch with me. Managed to drink enough water, too! Met my step goal, though it's not very hard at the moment - it dropped really low as a result of several days sitting on the couch all day. Though, it's actually nice to get eased back into it. Despite not sleeping well last night, I think I am finally over the cold. Or, close enough that I can start doing things again. Between the Sudafed and my steroid inhaler, I successfully kept it out of my lungs, too, which is amazing. I think this is the first cold in a very long time that hasn't resulted in a week+ of not being able to breathe. Though, I still think I'm going to take it easy on the exercise front for another day or two. Going to do stuff, but not jumping into hard workouts. I have new skater meeting with the new derby league tonight. I really hope I like what I hear, because the derby withdrawal is starting to be a thing. 2 Quote Wood Elf Waywatcher Mandalorian (Assassin/Ranger hybrid) Link to post

Would suck to have dodged that bullet, then push too hard, too soon, and fall to it anyway. Here's to a nice, feel-good week's end. 1 Quote Manarelle the Level 55 Amazon Assassin Gryffindarling and Sith Acolyte, somehow. Hope they are a good fit for you Last night was a meeting for people looking to join the league, geared towards people brand new to derby, so couldn't really get a representative feel for it. That said, the league skaters leading it seemed nice, there weren't any red flags, and while everyone has to start with the "brand new to skating" class they said if it's obvious you're beyond that they'll move you up right away instead of making you go through the whole thing anyway. My first practice is Jan 2. Day 24 16/28 - food 16/28 - water 15/28 - exercise 4/8 – skating 17/28 - sleep Yesterday didn't go as well as hoped on the challenge goals front, though. Was a bit short on sleep (mostly because it got interrupted a few times by little boys coughing), so wasn't starting off great. Was almost late getting Little Bug to school, and didn't have time to grab lunch from the store (and we have like no food at home right now), so ended up getting lunch from the cafeteria. That turned out to be a mistake, because for whatever reason the chicken tenders were gross and I think they disagreed with me. Since I threw out half my lunch, I ended up eating a bunch of chips, candy, and cookies because I was still hungry and that's what was available. Met my water goal, at least. Didn't do an exercise, either, because I ran out of time and decided sleep was a higher priority. I do not regret that decision. 2 Quote Wood Elf Waywatcher Mandalorian (Assassin/Ranger hybrid) Link to post
Elennare
Day 25 16/28 - food 17/28 - water 15/28 - exercise 4/8 – skating 18/28 - sleep Yesterday got slightly derailed by Little Bug being too sick to go to school. I probably shouldn't really be posting an update now, because I'm not actually awake yet and can't remember any details of what happened or I did yesterday, other than I got to bed way late and have to get up way early today. *sigh* I still have a couple days to get things going in the right direction again. All these stupid mobs in between me and all my gear. Who's idea was it to grind XP here? 2 Quote Wood Elf Waywatcher Mandalorian (Assassin/Ranger hybrid) Link to post

Elennare
Well, this challenge ended with a fizzle. Turns out this cold has 2 phases. That, or we all caught something else right after getting over the first thing. So, I haven't been feeling well enough to really get back on track. But before I got sick, I was doing great this time around. I think I'm going to take it easy until the next challenge starts so I can actually get healthy, and then keep killing it next year.
