Rurik Harrgath
Challenge Journal: The wee hours of December 14, 2018. We made it to the weekend, ladies and gentlemen! I've decided on a couple of books to start (☑), no social activity yet, but a weightlifting team Xmas party tomorrow (with a +1!!!). Caught up on my shows tonight, Vikings and SEAL Team - next up will be conquering season 3 of Frontier for #MomoaWeekend. Tuesday and Wednesday weren't perfect eating days, or rather they were until I got home and was still hungry after my nightly protein cookies - I got after some baked pizza buns smothered in shredded cheese the one and leftover egg rolls the other. Neither was catastrophic but still a bit of a hiccup in my Nutritional Alchemy quest so I'm not entirely sure how to handle that. Back on track today though, that's the important thing. Oly in the morning! I think that picture will be my inspiration for my 2019 challenge, except it'll be My Hopes and Dreams (or Motivation and Goals) are as big as Jason Momoa's arms. Rurik Harrgath
Challenge Journal: Week Three wrap-up (December 16, 2018). Week Three of the final challenge cycle for 2018 is in the bag. And I haven't been this active/addicted/attached to the forums in years, haha! It's really great to be back and posting regularly. Life is messy and complicated but the Rebellion is truly a home away from home, and ya'll help me center my brainwaves and bounce my ideas back with even better ideas. Plus I always feel more extroverted in Real Life after some Forum Extroversion, which is a major goal I'm working on. Speaking of goals, I'm excited to start brainstorming my overarching goals for 2019; we'll definitely continue to see a significant Momoa presence (especially with the influx of Aquaman gifs and memes to be had after this week's premiere), I'm going to keep embracing my inner Rogue/rake/rapscallion, grinding out my Charisma dump stat and striving for increasingly extroverted ambiversion, forming some agility goals to work on some CrossFit weaknesses I haven't looked at in ages, and continually seeking new and exciting ways to Level Up my life. I've already got a working challenge title based on one of the books I've sampled lately too.. Cry Havoc: The Rogue Who Pulled on Trouble's Braids. A moment of "Be Happy" (☑) I forgot to mention earlier in the week, came from an unlikely compliment from a coworker I've been riding the high of for a couple of days. Additional positivity dump: Started Frontier season 3 and loving it. Xmas party for the gym weightlifting team last night (social activity ☑) Finally got around to returning all the tools and tile and unused stuff to Home Depot last night when I also picked up my first ever real Christmas tree (my house smells AMAZING right now, plus minimalism mini-quest success ☑). Set-up my account for online grocery shopping and giving that a try tomorrow. Also, AQUAMAN IN FOUR DAYS!!!! I DON’T BELIEVE IN ANYTHING: "A delicate balancing act of fuel and activity."
