CourtnieMarie
still here, still kicking. and tomorrow is 2019! i like deadlifting and practicing body neutrality in regards to its shape. habits and routine got a bit derailed last month when my father suffered a bad fall and is currently re-learning how to move his arms and legs. he hasn't been moved to a rehab facility yet so we're trying to visit him everyday as hospitals can become depressing. given this new agenda, I've scaled back my goals. Challenge goals: 2 shortened weights workouts: one day will be squats and cable pulldowns; second day will be neutral grip OHP and deadlifts) 20 mins of running per week: planning this to be broken down into two 10-min sessions TV off by 8pm 5 nights/week finish thank you cards (0/4) Rolling goals: track restaurant food – try for less than 3x per week. plan out weekend food and grocery list before Friday night. track yoga – try for 20mins/week; hopefully fit in modified hip bridges and clamshells; mindfully choose to do yoga instead of playing phone games sleep and staying sane will be important. the plan. 1/3 – 1/10: honeymoon 1/11: friends (A & B) meetup 1/12: friends (C, D, E & F) meetup 1/13: clean out closet 1/16: fasted medical eval for work 1/19: friends (G) meetup 1/26: friends (H & I) meetup 2/2: friends (C & J) meetup I just lettered my friends to show that I’m not hanging out with the same people each time. meetups are dependent on what my dad needs from me. I'll be missing out on week 1 while I'm away on my honeymoon but hoping to be back in semi-action for week 2. there's no theme (yet) so gimme all your gifs that don't fit! 3 Quote Instagram | pinterest read harder challenge | Battle Log | NROLFW Challenges: 13-1 | 13-2 | 13-3 | 13-3.5 | 14-1 | 14-2 | 15-1 | 15-2 | 15-3 | 15-4 | 15-5 | 16-1 | 16-2 | 16-3 | 16-4 | 16-5 | 16-6 | 16-7 | 16-8 | 17-1 | 17-2 | 17-3 | 17-4 | 17-5 | 17-6 | 17-7 | 17-8 | 17-9 | 17-10 | 18-1 | 18-2 | 18-3 | 18-4 | 18-5 | 18-6 | 18-7 | 18-8 | 18-9 | 18-10 | 19-1 | 19-2 | 19-3 | 19-4 | 19-5 | 19-6 | 19-7 | current Link to comment

Harriet
Is body neutrality like a tavern at the halfway point for adventurers making the pilgrimage from body hate to body love? CourtnieMarie
I did get to the gym on Monday! 10 min jog on the treadmill (0.81 miles) and then Dumbbell OHP, palms in 30x5 40x5x4 DLs 135x5 145x5 155x5 Tuesday was a lot of visiting dad, shopping for a couple new pieces that actually fit (new fake leather jacket for honeymoon trip!), and hanging out with a couple friends in the evening. i did get up and do a quick forward fold and full body stretch at my friends house but that's it. this morning i went to the hospital again and then came straight to work to wrap up things before my trip! 5 Quote Instagram | pinterest read harder challenge | Battle Log | NROLFW Challenges: 13-1 | 13-2 | 13-3 | 13-3.5 | 14-1 | 14-2 | 15-1 | 15-2 | 15-3 | 15-4 | 15-5 | 16-1 | 16-2 | 16-3 | 16-4 | 16-5 | 16-6 | 16-7 | 16-8 | 17-1 | 17-2 | 17-3 | 17-4 | 17-5 | 17-6 | 17-7 | 17-8 | 17-9 | 17-10 | 18-1 | 18-2 | 18-3 | 18-4 | 18-5 | 18-6 | 18-7 | 18-8 | 18-9 | 18-10 | 19-1 | 19-2 | 19-3 | 19-4 | 19-5 | 19-6 | 19-7 | current Link to comment

CourtnieMarie
well well well. if it isn't my fellow nerds! i've been back from san diego for almost a week and just catching up with life. it was a great trip full of sun, long walks, delicious food and drink, and great music! i did come back with some pain in my upper back (maybe even shoulder muscles?) that connect to my neck. i thought it was the hotel bed and pillow but it hasn't gone away yet... as far as wellness stuff, i've been successfully catching up on sleep! back up to ~7.5hr average this week. I did 12 mins of yoga yesterday and a quick 5 min plank/superman interval series today. have not made it back to the gym mostly due to sleep deficit and the muscle pain is worse when i wake up. i'm hoping to get there tomorrow morning and start sleeping with a pillow between my knees (i'm a side sleeper). 4 Quote Instagram | pinterest read harder challenge | Battle Log | NROLFW Challenges: 13-1 | 13-2 | 13-3 | 13-3.5 | 14-1 | 14-2 | 15-1 | 15-2 | 15-3 | 15-4 | 15-5 | 16-1 | 16-2 | 16-3 | 16-4 | 16-5 | 16-6 | 16-7 | 16-8 | 17-1 | 17-2 | 17-3 | 17-4 | 17-5 | 17-6 | 17-7 | 17-8 | 17-9 | 17-10 | 18-1 | 18-2 | 18-3 | 18-4 | 18-5 | 18-6 | 18-7 | 18-8 | 18-9 | 18-10 | 19-1 | 19-2 | 19-3 | 19-4 | 19-5 | 19-6 | 19-7 | current Link to comment
