We did know. We took a home test with a positive on New Years Eve. We had been trying and were suspicious, so Sra. Tanque took a test to know if we need to limit ourselves to G-Rated drinks that night.

What a great way to go into the new year :)

I'll try wondering louder and more emphatically!

Thanks for all your help.

Today is a good day. No cooking, no workout, but it's still a good day. Maybe if I had called this zero week it wouldn't be so bad that I've only worked out once. Spoke with my boss today, they are already contemplating a minor schedule change for me. The only thing that doesn't change is change itself?

Hopefully it will work to your advantage. This is "The Year of Change" for Sir Tank and Lady M.

I Hope so.

Today is a good day. Got a dental cleaning that took very little time because I am good at taking care of my teeth. There was a cavity that will have to get worked on, it's in a spot where two teeth rub against each other. Did the Kettlebell workout and was a few reps shy of getting everything on the first set. Of course, I had to slow down after that because it pushed me to my limit, but that is a great thing because I'm both getting a heart workout and it means I'm going as hard as I can. I have come up with a new mantra for myself:

Eat Intuitively

Move Consistently.

Pretty un-legalistic if I do say so, and it's very helpful. No cooking because there were still enough leftovers that I didn't have to make anything new.

That’s what’s awesome about KBs, it’s the sweet spot in between strength training and cardio.

I like the idea of being able to tick both boxes at once.

The other component is eating. I am still over 300 pounds, and fixing what i eat is the only way that is going to change. Sticking with intuitive eating is probably my best bet. Right now I'm in that dangerous phase where I understand the principles intellectually but am in the grind of sticking with it till the results actually show themselves. My fellow perfectionists know what a dangerous time that is. Constant required effort with little to show for it is going to feel like failure no matter how well I am sticking with the process. I'm simply choosing not to give up.

Thank you! That will be very helpful for future conditioning workouts.

I agree, somehow I missed this when it was posted for the first time and I really want to try it now!!  :D  I'm collecting workout plans so I actually get intentional workouts at the gym, and don't just go and monkey around like it's a playground. This is on my list for my next trip!

You're welcome. It's a really solid workout. Right now I'm using a 25lb bell.

I think I've got change fatigue right now related to my job.

It's surprisingly intense, be ready to stop and put your head between your knees if you have to.

Yesterday was rough. I was really in a bad mood about work changes coming so soon after that big round of changes last month. They new changes aren't set in stone, I'm going to meet with people and talk about them. Again I don't want to go into details on here, suffice it to say some of the changes are so distasteful to me it's offensive they were considered. Today is better, church was very good, and the sermon was particularly helpful. I'm doing my best to choose a good attitude.

I’m glad you’re trying to not dwell in those unhappy feelings... but I’m sorry that the situation merits unhappy feelings in the first place. I hope you are able to talk to someone about it and make some good changes.

Sorry about the work problems. Praying for wisdom for you as you talk to the people, and that they will be able to hear what you are saying

Maybe you should pray for wisdom for the ones Tanktimus is going to talk to as well? Obviously if they had wisdom they would be listening to him. ;)

@Tanktimus the Encourager, I send hope for patience, and for the ability to persuade, in your meetings to come.

:smile-new: Yes , that is what I meant when I said that they would listen to him. Not just that they would hear his words, but they would understand what he was saying and what his frustrations were, ad they would have wisdom. Because obviously Tank is wise and we all agree with him:friendly_wink:
