Thanks so much everybody. That PR has kept me in a good mood since it happened. I keep wanting to tell people what I did, even if they don't know who I am or what the hell I'm talking about! :D

It has, thanks for asking. I've had a few dips, but overall it's been a bit more balanced. I need to make sure I don't let my self care slip again.

It was glorious here yesterday. I think today is going to be the same. I went for a nice walk in the sunshine at lunchtime and it was really lovely.

Tuesday 26th Feb

 

Me, after yesterdays WOD

STR:

Front Rack Lunges 4x8 - 25 kg

super set: Single arm row 4 x 6 (each arm) - 12kg

 

WOD: E3MOM x 5 rounds

20KBS

15 Goblet Squats

5 Burpess

Slowest Round = Score

SCORE = 1:24

 

Doesn't sound too bad right? WRONG! The coach was not letting us get off lightly. Before we started, he told us that everyone in the previous class had their slowest round in round 1 and he didn't want a single one of us to do the same thing. We had to go out hard and fast in the first round. So I did, and my first round time was 1:16. The second round was similar and then my third round was my slowest - 1:24. When I got that time, I thought 'there is no way in hell I'm getting a lower score than that' which meant I then had to push hard on the last 2 rounds. It was horrendous, but at the same time, I've never been more proud of myself! I pushed as hard as I could and gave it literally everything. When we finished, I couldn't move for at least 5 minutes.

Hi CQ, how did the race go?  I'm jealous you have winter events there. ;)  Hopefully you have had a chance to rest up and are back to crossfit this week, I look forward to hearing about the workouts.
