Sunmage - Emerging from the Cocoon

Guess I have to Research when I did use this title, but it is a great fit.

 

I have two full challenges ahead to get into the best shape I want to be.

Actually I still have to figure out where I want to go, but some things are clear:

 

  1. Replenish
    I have to do whatever it takes to not wear myself out. 
    Daily Meditation Right after work, seems to be great. I will do 1 session of 30 Minutes every day. My Goal is 1 hour.
    Afterwards I'm less stressed and able to use my free time better.
  2. Grow
    I need to seet the right impulses for my own growth.
    This will be done by Picking up CrossFit again.
    4 BW Workouts until Feb 17, CF afterwards
  3. Refuel
    My diet is key for my Energy Levels
    My tummy is bloated and irritated a lot right now.
    I will figure out why and will only eat the good stuff.

 

There are thousand more Things I want to accomplish, but this is where it begins!

And I looked up the challenge where I used that title last.

I had 3 Goals: Food, CrossFit and something for mind and soul.

Interesting :)

Day -3: Awake at 4:30 am. Fell asleep around 10, so thats kind of ok. Will go to work early and have a nap after meditation. Also just 8 hours to my weekly steak treat for lunch.

 

Also I have something new to obsess about as I started an investment account and bought my first shares yesterday. I hope I learn quickly to just let it sit and grow...

Congrats on the dive in! And also what you've said. What kind of products are you going for (pure shares? funds? dividends or share-value oriented?) ?

Didn't learn it today... We'll see what it takes.

 

ETF Vanguard all developed world and emerging markets. And one stock of a company that I like.

 

Got a mole removed. Big one, so no sports until the stitches are done in two weeks.

Yup, my retirement fund is going down at the moment too. I've been a little scared at first but now, I see it as an opportunity to buy more of it at a cheaper price. Daily variations mean nothing to people like us because adjusting to them would cost way more in fees than any hypothetical gain or loss. So, watch and let grow, even through difficult times. :)

Easier said than done :)

But 2 out of 3 made a nice leap upwards :)

 

Fell asleep to early and now Im awake at night... Guess I need some disipline.

And I managed to block my sacroiliac joint again. This time mobilizing it helped only for 12 hours...

Week 1 report:

 

  1. Replenish
    Accomplished 30 minutes to 1 hour of Meditation every day
    This is no magical fix though.
  2. Grow
    No Sports until the threads are pulled. :(
  3. Refuel
    No Progress. I do notice extreme amounts of bloating. But I have yet to figure out where it is coming from.

One step at a time, as they say. Meditation may be no magical fix but I find that building habits and sticking to them help in feeling we're spending time for ourselves and getting toward a better place.

Week 2 report:

 

  1. Replenish
    Accomplished 30 minutes to 1 hour of Meditation every day
    Felt good
  2. Grow
    No Sports until the threads are pulled. :(. Destroyed my SI-Joint.
    But I found a great Video with excercises for Realignment that were new for me and worked like magic.
  3. Refuel
    Felt a Little better. Still bloating. 

Week 3 report:

  1. Replenish
    Fell off the wagon and missed some days. Getting back in was difficult. But Taiji was great!
  2. Grow
    Threads are pulled, back is better. Instead of starting CF, I started the motocycling Season. 
    No regrets here :)
  3. Refuel
    Felt  better. Still bloating. I should ditch coke or applejuice for lunch :(

I had a great time with some interesting insights and worked a lot on stuff like relationships :)

 

One more week to go! I want to finish strong with Meditation or Taiji every single day, clean my flat and ease back into using my muscles :)

    I'd be thrilled to read more of your discoveries. Relationships have been bugging me since forever and my psychologist seems to think it's time for me to work on it. xD
