annyshay
The pedestal in front of the shrine looks similar to the others, so I put the Sheikah Slate up to it. Access Granted. The doors to the shrine peel back and the lighting of the outside of the shrine changes from orange all over to orange on top and blue on the bottom. I walk forwards to stand on a circular blue design only to be surprised when the floor starts moving downwards. The floor sinks until I am standing in a new area under ground with cool blue walls and dim blue lighting. As I step forwards, I hear a voice say "To you who sets foot in this shrine... I am Oman Au. In the name of the Goddess Hylia, I offer this trial. Magnesis Trial." A large gate sits in front of me with a few medal plates projecting over part of the floor. To the left, a similar stone and pedestal await for me. I head there and put the Sheikah Slate into the pedestal this time without prompting. Again the blue symbols descend from the ceiling on the large stone and seem to coalesce into a bright blue drop of liquid that falls onto the Sheikah Slate. The Sheikah Slate lights up and says "Rune extracted." As I pull the Sheikah Slate closer, I read through the details of this new power that the mysterious object has acquired. Apparently medal objects can be picked up and moved freely when this power is engaged. I activate the rune and find that the two large medal plates are glowing pink. When I line the Sheikah Slate up with one of them it turns yellow and the Sheikah Slate prompts me to "activate". The medal plate glows yellow and as if by magic, I can levitate it and move it out of the way. An area below is suddenly visible with a ladder that will take me downwards. I climb down the ladder, walk along a pathway next to some water, and then climb some stairs to a room that is blocked by large bricks and one metallic box. I pull out my Sheikah Slate again to push the box through the wall of bricks. On the other side of a pile of bricks, a walking machine is waiting for me. It takes aim and fires something like a laser. I hit it a few times with the axe that I found outside and eventually it falls into the water that is nearby. It took a few chunks out of me, and I'm down a few hearts, so I eat some apples to refuel. There is another large plate on the floor. I cross it and then use the magnesis rune to levitate it so that I can cross the gap ahead of me. I look up and see a metallic treasure chest high on the wall. The rune brings it to me without difficulty. I think that I'm getting the hang of this thing. Two giant metallic doors block my path. I use the rune to pull them towards me, and they fall open. I walk forward into a room with a glowing blue box that appears to have a statue of a person inside of it. I walk close and poke it. The box shines, turns to light, and splinters into thousands of glimmers. The statue inside talks to me. "You have proven to possess the resolve of a true hero. I am Oman Au, the creator of this trial. I am a humble monk, blessed with the sight of Goddess Hylia and dedicated to helping those who seek to defeat Ganon. With your arrival, my duty is now fulfilled. In the name of the Goddess Hylia, allow me to bestow this gift upon you... Please accept this spirit orb." A spirit orb flies out from the monk and lands at my chest, integrating there with a show of light. I am surprised but don't feel injured or changed in any way that I can tell. "May the Goddess smile upon you." With that the monk disappears and I find myself transported to the opening of the shrine once again. 4 Quote Love as thou wilt. Link to comment

annyshay
Week One Wrap Up Stasis = Mindful Moments - 13 I'm maintaining here, which is a good thing. My mindful moments are pretty brief at the moment. It would be nice to expand them out slowly. Remote Bomb = Kitchen Sink - 6 Doing great with this one. I'm really glad that I've adopted this habit. It makes it much easier to want to cook for myself. Cryonis = Movement Check In - 6 Doing well here also. I would like to get the time of the check in to be a bit more consistent in the future. Magnesis = PT Exercises - 7 Did squats three times this week, just didn't quite get up to doing 40 on all three days, so that's something to shoot for this week. 5 Quote Love as thou wilt. annyshay
You guys might think this is funny, but I've kind of been avoiding getting some blood work done. I put getting my blood drawn off for months, but I finally went and did it today. I hope the results don't take too long to come back. 7 Quote Love as thou wilt. Link to comment

Do you think you have symptoms that suggest you might have diabetes? Good for you for getting up the courage to have it done. Sending hugs and support to carry you, keep you calm, until you get the results. You've been doing so well on food and new habits lately, even if it might be high, or on the line, these new habits are going to bring it down. We need to have tests done within the next couple of months (latest in 6months' time), and I'm scared my cholesterol might be too high. So I know how you are feeling. 1 Quote Mrs. Van's Latest Challenge Zechariah 4:6 "Not by might, nor by power, but by My spirit, saith the Lord." Link to comment
