Goal 1: See Captain Marvel because I haven't yet and that is a devastating tragedy. Complete.

Goal 2: 3 Workouts of any length of any type per week.

Goal 4: Stretch every day

Goal 3: French Practice of any amount of time 5 days per week.

That is literally it. Easy. Simple. Straightforward.

Simple feels so easy and doable.  I tend to get  caught in the details really easily; maybe I should try this.

I do to! But my life is complicated enough now that something simple is helpful and doable now.

Update time:

Yesterday I started a four week core challenge on Aaptiv. If anyone is looking for an app to help guide workouts, Aaptiv is fantastic. Even if you know what you are doing in the gym already but want something fresh or to just not think - I highly recommend. It does cost money - but it's worth it. Has everything from boxing to spin to yoga and meditation to body weight workouts. I promise I'm not being paid. :playful:

I'm also putting journaling, meditation, and gratitude back on my to-do lists. I have a bit of down time so its time to start turning those into habits that actually stick around during the stressful times.

I also haven't talked about my mini Toothless child. He is not a cat. He is the most cuddly, klutzy, clingy animal I have EVER had and I grew up with multiple dogs. The vet I boarded him at for the week I was in Florida attempted to steal him so he could be their clinic cat. He snuggles with me all night and makes the most pitiful whine sound if I have to move. He has managed to lock himself in my room at least 3 times, and he's starting to bring me his wine bottle catnip toys on an hourly basis. In short - for someone who is vehemently not a cat person - he is absolutely perfect and I'm so so glad he chose me.

Awesome! This reminds me (again) that I bought the NF Rings & Handstands pack and have done nothing with it yet. (I discovered karate just in time to get busy with that before getting into the rings stuff, I think)

Meditation has become one of my "do not skip" mental health self-care habits. Good on you for prioritizing these.

Ugh. I did too and immediately followed the next shiny thing I saw. I do want to get back into handstands (and eventually find a good place to set up my rings). Cross my fingers that this summer will give me the chance to play a bit.

I feel so much better when I practice regularly but it's such an easy habit to let go of.

Work is so slow today that I made an account on You Need A Budget and now I'm a sad adult. I really like being in denial when it comes to my broke student status yet here I am.

Adulting is such a bummer sometimes.

Ooh. Unrelated (sort of) but I made some delicious chicken spinach quesadillas and I am so proud of them. I love my Ninja Foodi - it makes cooking so fun and easy.

Yum!! What’s a ninja foodi? (Sounds very applicable to the assassin guild LOL)

I just took that book out of the library! There’s an online version too? How do you like it? (Other than it dragging you out of denial [emoji23])

It's very similar to an Instapot but it has an air fryer.

I didn't know there was a book! There is an app and an online platform to help build a flexible budget. I love it because I hate static budgeting (I never get it right and then I give up because what use is a budget if it's impossible to stick too?). Also - it allows you to tie your accounts to the platform and keeps track of all of your spending and transactions. It is already really helping me get a better idea of what my finances are.
