I'm going for something a little different in my health journey this time around, I am a woman and, like many of us, have spent too much of my life identifying everything that is wrong with my body and going on a series of fad diets.... but I'm in my late 30s now and I'm exhausted with this pattern!  I'm less concerned about losing weight(I finally just got rid of the damn scale) and am concentrating on changing my relationship with food and with my body, and I'd like to develop a more regular fitness routine.  One of the biggest changes I've recently made is that I won't say anything about my own body that I wouldn't say about a friend's body, obviously I still slip up, but being kinder to myself has definitely made a big difference in my confidence.  Anyway, my next part of the plan is to develop a fitness routine that is sustainable for the long haul, I often find that I tend to be a bit all or nothing about these things which hasn't worked that well....so, here we go!
