Monday - w0d2

 

Mindful Moments

- one during lunch - sat down, took a moment, and enjoyed the spices of my lunch

- one before dinner - was getting really hungry when it wasn't "time to eat", got up and had an Rx bar anyway

 

PT Exercises

- traced the alphabet

- one legged stands

- squats 4 x 10

- calf stretch 20 seconds

- towel gathers 3 x 60 seconds

 

Self Care

- lavender, peppermint, and grapefruit in the diffuser

- meditated at lunch time

- did the dishes

I fell behind last challenge--where will you be moving to?

 

Sometimes when you're in transition, the most you can hope for is basic self care on top of everything else. I'm looking forward to Endgame, although I probably won't see it in the theatres XD (I rarely do, even before Enting.)

I'm moving to Albany NY in late June. Self care for the win. I'll try to keep everything spoiler free.

Tuesday - w0d3

 

Mindful Moments

- one during breakfast - I had forgotten to eat my usual quick breakfast, so when I realized I was hungry, I made sure to get more fuel

- one before dinner - split second of gratitude for my meal before my cat started to try to steal it

 

PT Exercises

- traced the alphabet

- one legged stands

- calf stretch 20 seconds

- towel gathers 2 x 60 seconds

- toe raises 2 x 20

 

Self Care

- nap

Pray with open eyes... or one eye open. Or hold Dragon while you pray. Doesn't stop Stampy from trying his luck this side, but maybe Dragon is more impressionable :D

Friday - w0d6

- one before breakfast - sat at the table, feet flat on the floor, said grace, chewed mindfully

- one during lunch - sat and enjoyed my food without screens or other distractions

- one during dinner - sat without screens, focused on flavors of my food

 

PT Exercises

- traced the alphabet

- one legged stands

- calf stretch 20 seconds

- towel gathers 2 x 60 seconds

- toe raises 20

 

Self Care

- nap

- clary sage in the diffuser

- Songs for Good Friday spotify playlist

- chatting with a friend online

Perennial goals: Sleep 7+ hours a night, retain (and continue to learn) French and Spanish as a family, increase Spanish Proficiency for work and play,  read like a maniac on my own and with my kids, carry heavy stuff

Long term goals: Cut to 13-15% bodyfat, And now that I'm grown I eat five dozen eggs, so I'm roughly the size of a baaaaarge! -> Someday I'll challenge a Disney world Gaston to a push up contest and win

- one during brunch - waited until I was hungry and just had what I wanted

- one during lunch - recognized that I was still hungry and had more to eat

- one during lunch - ate some jelly beans in ones and twos actually paying attention to the flavors

- one legged stands

- towel gathers 2 x 60 seconds

 

Self Care

- nap

- clary sage in the diffuser

A photo for you, showing Stampy trying to steal some of my seafood mix last night. His little paw was so fast, I couldn't catch it in my bowl, on a photo! I eventually gave him a small, small piece of calamari, which he promptly licked clean, then left alone! Brandt says Stampy is just showing his love by inspecting my food. He doesn't do it with anyone else.
