RedStone
Okay, I never actually SAW Free Willy, but I definitely need to come up for air. 2019 so far has been a bit of a whirlwind, and it's been most useful for me to keep my nose to the grindstone and work through it. Most notably, I've just recently passed my finals for Health Coaching and am officially certified Additionally, Mr Red and I are in the process of buying a house and are scheduled to close in the next few weeks. This is possibly the most stressful of the things that have come up. Now that we're clear to close I feel like I can finally breath, but it was a tough few months making it all happen. In general, throughout this process of home stuff and last semester and designing future plans for home and business, I've had some trouble staying on a schedule and was succumbing to overwhelm often. Things are much better now, but only for now. Soon there will be renovations, packing and moving, and I'm starting my next round of study tonight, a specialty in spinal rehab exercise. The pros are - other than I really nasty spring virus - I'm in good health and all the parts seem to be behaving. I still get a deposit of scar tissue in my lower back where I injured it a few years ago deadlifting, but stretching and SMFR helps. Shoulders prefer DB pressing to BB, and I focus on unilateral leg work to help with balance. So lets get to it!! Zero week tasks will define challenge goals. -define timeline requirements discussed last week with business coach for work stuff -connect with lawyer and define timeline for house tasks -create bujo tracker with goals Good too be here with ya'll! 8 Quote ~Peace Be The Journey~ one - two - three - four - five - six - seven- eight - nine - ten - eleven - twelve - thirteen - fourteen - fifteen - sixteen - seventeen - eighteen - nineteen - twenty - twenty one - twenty two - twenty three - twenty four - twenty five - twenty six - twenty seven - twenty eight - twenty nine - thirty - thirty one - thirty two - thirty three - thirty four - thirty five - thirty six Link to comment

RedStone
I connected with my lawyer and realtor yesterday and the house stuff will likely be inconclusive until next week. (TLDR Deets in spoiler) The lawyer told us to keep an eye on certain dates and prepare to ask for an extension if needed. SOOOOO airing on the safe side, I think we are going to try to stay in our rental through June instead of May to have more time to do the renovations without freaking out. I'm trying to decide how much the moving delay really effects my working schedule. I'm finding I have the free time to do the work things now since we haven't really started packing or doing the renovations yet. Additionally, part of my actually implementing my program relies on the new gym in the new house, which... in theory... I could set up and use before the final move but it still has to be after closing. It will be in the basement and unaffected by the renovations, so I guess it can be used as soon as I have ownership of the space? I think for the sake of this challenge, I'll have to draw up the basics of day to day and week to week tasks, and start planning for packing and renovation time as well. I'm undecided how that's going to look exactly for a challenge but I do have some steady basics I can include - writing and training. Maybe for the other things I'll go week to week as the situation dictates! It's only day 2 of ZEROWEEK, plenty of time to hash it out. Spoiler So the hold up with the house is a small boundary issue from the survey, showing that 2 back neighbors are encroaching on the property. From our POV, the lot is a simple rectangle with fencing all around - behind a row of trees. I don't need the 2 feet that the neighbor's shed is on, OUTSIDE the fence. I don't need them to move the shed, or the other neighbor to break down 6 feet of their fencing and move their children's play set. I also don't need to pay the taxes on the strip either, or have this same issue come up in a future sale. All we want is a new boundary line to be drawn so the neighbors have their own property legally, and we don't have problems in the future with that. We're going to concede the land to them. The hold up, apparently, is that the seller's attorney is an asshole that made her, a sweet little old lady with a sick husband that has to move away ASAP, cry. My realtor says he's being slow and mean and dragging his feet and isn't it typical, he's a litigator and need she say more? Yes because I don't know why that would be a problem, but I guess using a real estate lawyer is more straight forward. And it sucks because she's the one in breech of contract and also the one that needs to move right away and we feel awful for her. No one wants this to fall through and I hope she gets a new lawyer ASAP. 5 Quote ~Peace Be The Journey~ one - two - three - four - five - six - seven- eight - nine - ten - eleven - twelve - thirteen - fourteen - fifteen - sixteen - seventeen - eighteen - nineteen - twenty - twenty one - twenty two - twenty three - twenty four - twenty five - twenty six - twenty seven - twenty eight - twenty nine - thirty - thirty one - thirty two - thirty three - thirty four - thirty five - thirty six Link to comment
