Before I was trying to be good my day looked like this... easily hit 2500 calories a day

Breakfast: 

- medium starbucks peppermint mocha frappuccino (sometimes whole milk with whipped cream, sometimes with 2% milk and light whip)

- everything bagel + butter

 

Lunch:

- leftovers (usually 1 cup potatoes/pasta/rice with meat probably about 3-4oz worth, maybe some veggie if I had it)

or 

- randomly go out for food... (Burrito, burger and fries, all you can eat sushi, Roti, sandwich)

 

Dinner:

- either burgers, pizza, popeyes chicken, subs, pitas, chinese

or

- random home cooked meal with saucy meat, potatoes/rice/pasta, some veggie (ie. potato salad, chicken strips with plum sauce; fajita wraps (1 wrap); burger with corn and potato salad; chicken, mashed potatoes, stuffing, asparagus with gravy; beef roast, mashed potatoes, yorkshire puddings, gravy; etc) Plate would sometimes be too much and I would feel overly full when I finished.... especially if it featured something I really liked.

 

Snackies:

- Anything I could get my hands on.. or that would show up in front me of.. so for example yesterday I would of ate smarties, pretzels, ice cream, yogurt etc etc. but typically chips, chocolate, popcorn, donuts, cookies.

 

So basically bad planning and my snack squirrel habits of never saying no to things lol

 

Now... I am anywhere from 1300-1800 calories / day

Breakfast on weekdays:

- protein shake (1 scoop powder, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup cashew milk, ice or 1 scoop powder, peppermint extract, 1 cup cashew milk)

- maybe 28g almonds or 30g cheese

 

Breakfast on Weekends:

- 1-2 eggs

- 1 toast

- 30g cheese

- 1 turkey bacon

 

Lunch: 

- meat (3-5oz of steak, pork or chicken breast; 1 hamburger patty; 6 meatballs; etc)

- 1oz potato or 3/4 cup rice or pasta

- as much veggie as I want

- usually 15-30g cheese

 

Dinner: 

- same as lunch  OR on non riding day I have been having 1 egg and 1 toast

 

Snacks:

I try to go for deli meat, raw veggies, fruit, almonds or cheese

Wellll not really lol because the quantity of foods are more or less the same sadly lol. I do love cheese <3 but I make sure to weigh it haha. Thanks! It is effort for sure sometimes. I am getting to a place though where if I am feeling snacky I just want something and I don't care what it is. So I could happily snack on raw veggies or deli meats instead of a cupcake or icecream. And that is really cool.

I am actually obsessed with that sweater.. My friend from the states found it and bought it for me. Its so comfy and cute. Thank you! It didn't take a lot of mental willpower because I knew I wasn't having it.. I decided before I left the barn I was having an egg and toast when I got home. And I did lol. I have considered Halo Top but right now with my calorie level I can still have frozen yogurt in moderation so there is that. I honestly can't justify buying the Halo Top. It rarely goes on sale and when it does its like .50 cents off. I believe they were $7 last I checked. Which is more than what my DQ order would come out to.. but close. But perhaps its the idea of its a treat. So its okay. I had a bit of a weird mental moment where I was like "All these people probably are going to assume its for me because I am fat..." and im like wait no... they assume its for me because I am in line at an ice cream place by myself.. Also everyone here is also getting icecream. It was weird. Not sure why it mattered lol Like PEOPLE ... You don't know me.. but trust me.. I am doing good here! 

 

 

 

SIDE NOTE: little sister better get better. When I dropped off her icecream yesterday she actually looked like death and sounded worse.

I've had to deal with those kinds of thoughts many times. I'm happy to hear that your brain gave you the rational answer too.

People honestly care surprisingly little about strangers in the vicinity. I always worry I'm being judged when I go through the grocery line with a basket full of just meat and milk (in Japan those two things are super weird -- meat's expensive and milk is for children) but really people don't care that much. I try to remind myself that they don't notice me any more than I notice them, and if I'm feeling particularly introspective, I ask myself if maybe I'm the source of the perceived judgement.

I decided to not bother with the thigh straps lol and although I'm not super happy with my jacket I'm still happy with it. We had fun. Still here... But in the car with the windows down listening to instrumental video game music. We have the butler cafe thing at 5... Which apparently we both agreed to because we both thought the other wanted to do it lol. For lunch I had a shawarma wrap and small ice cream. I would kill for some water lol like the biggest glass ever.

 

It was pouring when we got here but it stopped as we were getting let in. We changed out of our cosplays after 3 hrs cause my feet started hurting. 

 

My sister is pretty funny.. someone had giant bubbles and I was like how do they get the bubbles do big??? And she's like "probably GMOs" and I was like wait whut lol. Other notable mention.. she was blowing her nose for like 5 mins.. stopped, looked at me and was like "am I princess yet?" Wtf lol

Feeling inspired from a certain Flea, I picked up my Mari Kondo book and was reading it a bit then jumped into a clothing purge. Problem is I like a lot of my clothes lol. So I only was able to get rid of 1 bag full so far. And some of the stuff I'm getting rid of I actually do like but I'm giving everything to my friend first and I know she could use certain items. I told her whatever she doesn't want she can either try to sell or donate.  As I was putting away my keep clothes I thinned them out a bit more. Mainly because I honestly don't have any bedroom storage. Between my boyfriend and I, we have 1 small dresser and a small closet. So frustrating.

Okay so I got some good progress done yesterday on my sorting/purging clothes. I have 3 garbage bags so far to go to my friend so she can go through it then donate/sell whatever she doesn't want.  I have about 2-3 more loads of laundry to wash. And I have old bed sheets with random rips and jeans with crotch / thigh rub holes that I have to do something with. I was thinking of just stuffing one of the bedsheets with the other things and making a crate filler thing for Wesleys crate so its more cozy. I think I will try to sell my 2 bridesmaids dresses I have because really I don't know that I plan on wearing them again.

Dress 1 from brothers wedding. I just don't have the boobs for it.. Or rather I don't have the proper bra to make this look good and not show (the back was lower I think).

This one I like the style better and I could see me wearing it with a cute jean jacket BUT ... its not super flattering unless I am remembering not to slouch and to suck in the gut haha... Also same bra issue lol

For challenge... I am considering saying hit calorie intake again. Because I apparently just suck at macros. I still try to aim to hit them, but this lets me practice without "Failing" my challenge. And when I get better at it, then try for macro counting strickly. I am not sure which is best or better for weight loss.. I feel both are good as long as you don't go "well... i could eat this chocolate sundae for dinner because it fits in my calories...." 

 

I was updating my calendar and holy moly things are about to get cray cray. Hopefully with lots of cottage time to go kayak fishing with the BF. He likes the fishing.. I like the kayaking haha. 

 

Feeling a little sideways today. This office is way too hot and I am getting a headache. I feel unmotivated about stuff. Ugh. It is probably an unhealthy habit that I always need some big and excited project to work on or else I feel lost lol. I wanna feel right ways up lol.

Welp another pound gone! Which brings me to 274.4lbs (my goal weight for this challenge was 274.2lbs)

 

Week 1, Monday

Calories not exceeded

2L water drank

Flossed Teeth

 

Soooo my horse is in heat and is being very needy and loud which is so unlike her lol. She was calling to her herd every 5 seconds and she has the most feminine high pitched whinny which is funny because shes huge. Despite the distracted hormonal boy crazy horse, we still got a good lesson in and it was my first lesson outside actually because this rain finally let up enough for me to be able to ride outside on a Monday. I meant use my field walk to get the horse as my Mini All Guild Challenge walk but for once Daisy was just outside the winter paddock... so I didn't get my big kms but the walk was quality... Nothing like walking through ankle keep mud and hay mystery sloosh. I only got stuck twice this time haha.

$7!?! Thats some Canada stuff right there! Halo Top is $3.50 here. Still pricer than ice cream, but healthier. 

 

Isn't it weird how we assume people are judging us, when they probably aren't.

None of those spoke to me lol I would probably like mint chip, smores, caramel macchiato and blueberry crumble. My one friend was saying there were some to stay away from cause the taste is awful. Which ones do you like?

Week 1, Tuesday

Daisy decided I needed to do extra on my "walk" for the all-guild challenge yesterday. As I finally got to her she decided she would walk away, so I got to follow her. Yay. The field is an absolute disaster.... the terrain on its own is varied but it has its hilly parts (where horse always is... thank you horse) but with this mud... holy crap. I get back and I am always out of breath and dying. There were a few spots in the winter paddock (which I have to walk through to get to the field) that went past my ankles and up my calf (luckily didn't go in my boots). If you aren't careful you can easily be up above your knee in mud lol. The field has waterlogged in parts and has pot holes from the horses hooves. So it is a mix of grass bits and mud and water. FUN.  Bring back the warm wind please... dry this stuff up.

 

The ride went good. We have been working on "lifting my ribcage" and I felt I was doing it well at the beginning. But when I get tired I start to crumple into a ball lol. I wanted to jump but my mental block stopped me :/ I would like to remove the mental block. 

 

It was a late day because I had to go pick up some food stuffs for my BFs family thats coming over to look at our AC because it has decided it no longer works. So I was already running late because I stayed a bit later than usual at work because I was on a coding roll. Then barns took extra time. So I got home around 9:15 ish... showered then realized I had to get groceries... then still had to prep lunchs and marinate the meat I got for today. I didn't get in bed until 11pm and then I stayed up a bit longer decompressing. I am tired. I am supposed to go to an Art Battle thing with my SIL tonight... if my brother can get home in time to take care of my niece. So we shall see. I have never been but she seems excited to go.

Week 1, Wednesday

Yesterday was kind of high stress unhappy headache day. I got home late the night before... so when to bed late and slept like shit. Had a meeting with my team where we were going over what I had worked on and basically got told "yup okay we are going to change all of this now" and im like cool...coolcoolcool.  "Oh and that thing thats been powering the section that you wrote x amount of years ago.. yah we are going to rewrite that.. we can probably make it way better...." and the whole time in my head I am like "yah sure lol. FML"

Strangely after that meeting I got the migraine/headache funtimes and they lasted... all the way until now! :D Last night got home around 10:45pm (bedtimes)  from the Art Battle... packed lunches.... went to bed late again. Woke up... had to shower, had to switch purses again, had to grab my lunch... went to make my shake (already running late) and blender and everything was put away. So I said heck it. I got a starbuckies and got a shot of espresso in my frapp and a bagel. (Still in my calories for the day.. I double checked). The espresso shot has taken the edge off the headache for now. But I can tell its still there. Overall I am in an ok mood just look like this =.=

 

Oh and I get to slug 2 horses out of the mud today because my barn owner asked me if I could bring another girl in when I am bringing Daisy in haha. Usually I bring them in together at once when shes asks me to. I was considering doing 2 walks out to the field for extra walking but we will see.. It depends on how bad the winter paddock with the rain and moisture we have been having the last few days and how far the herd is in the 40 ac field.  If it is raining by the time I get to the barn.. I can guarantee I am only doing 1 trip lol 

 

RE: art battle.. It was a lot of fun to watch. There were 2 rounds. Each had 6 contestants and lasted 20 minutes. So they had 20 minutes to paint something from scratch. I really like some of the paintings they did and it was fun to see how they would evolve. As an observer you walk around the painters clockwise and sometimes by time you got back to a painting it was completely different. At the end of a round the audience would vote on which painting they liked the best. The paintings would go up for silent auction and you could buy it if you wanted (starting at $50) and the next round started. When the second round was over we voted and they eventually said the top 2 from each round and they did another round with those 4. My SIL thinks I should join in next time haha.  I don't know if I could do it so I am probably going to try practicing when I finish my 2 paintings cause it is a fun creative exercise.
