I told him I like simple and not huge ... and I feel you can't go wrong with simple. He just wants it to be perfect which is great but I know him and he is a turtle in peanut butter so less options the better haha. I like this one... But silver. I like rose gold but I don't know if I could stand it forever haha. And I have a bunch of moissanite stones I love that he could use for the stone. But I think he feels he needs to get something he picks out. Which is fine just more money. I think this one is $1.6k USD in platinum Then if he uses my stones ... just whatever shipping is lol. We've been together 6 years in 2 weeks so whatever lol. My grandpas keeps writing in my Christmas cards "I pray the good Lord will bless you with a ring on your finger" lol ==== Down to 271.8lbs :O Week 2, Monday Food tracked Calories not exceeded 2+L water drank Flossed I still don't feel like summing up my points from last week lol but I think I really only had 1 true off day where I did none of the things and went over my calories. I don't have much to say in summary... I have been kicking some butt. Here's to continuing my downward transition lol I am not sure what to make my challenge goal... Problem.... we weren't really planning on selling RIGHT now so not sure how that would work or if we can afford this + me lease horse + have my car payments. It depends on how much we can sell our current house for. Plus we have a lot of work to do on our house before selling (landscaping, do paint touch ups on exterior, paint basement, remove fake door in basement, fix all the trim because Poncho ate the corners... paint main floor that goes up really high in the stairwell....fix old water damage on ceiling in same stairwell, 3 windows need replacing). - can have a fire pit in backyard - bigger back yard - more private / no neighbours (front of house points towards a giant tree nursery thing, left side and back point onto farmer fields... right has the only neighbour) - kind of rural - bigger house - no stairssss (well this might be an only me positive haha) - nicer kitchen - open layout - room for mini comic book library - area for art space - area for office - huge driveway - upgrade for master bedroom with fireplace (whatttt i could get a dresser???) - basement has big windows - has garage - finished basement / good area to watch tv... - closer (or same) to all our things - areas to go swimming and fishing near by i think So we are gonna just do a little drive by sometime this weekend to see the area. So I'm a bit heart broken lol cause I know it doesn't make sense to pursue it atm. But what could it hurt driving by... We planned on maybe looking and putting the house up for sale in a year and a half. ==== Posting pictures from my walk to get my horse haha apparently it was a 15 minute walk. I got excited because they were fairly close... In the dry part... I think I need to do some fabric studies because it just doesn't make sense to me. I am hoping I like it more (the arm) when I take a better picture today. I think I like how it was before better BUT... I might just leave it lol This is more true to the picture. I know what I would change but not sure if I want to yet. Yesterday Daisy and I had a really good ride. We even popped over 2 little cross rail jumps and they were perfect <3 When I asked my one friend if she saw she was like "I saw!!! And I hate you.. you never jump and its perfect.. I always jump and its not perfect" And Im like "wellllll... we do a lot a lot of flat work which helps with jumping... And they don't always turn out perfect hahaha you just never see" Plus theres a bit of a difference between jumping 2'6-2'9 and jumping 18" lolllll My lips started to feel all itchy again yesterday and the corners felt like they were drying again. Yayyy... And since this morning the roof of my mouth is the texture of when you burn the top of your mouth. :/ Might try to make a doctors appointment today but its just such a hassle because of doctors location and it takes forever to get in when you call... and I feel they will say to come in next week and this thing will be gone by then probably. I skipped my protein shake this morning in case it was that causing it? I just really don't know what I would of eaten to trigger it. It could also be a viral/fungal/bacterial infection of sorts but it seems weird that it goes away then randomly pops up again like HAI. Rookie Posted June 6, 2019 Author Report Share Posted June 6, 2019 Week 2, Wednesday Food tracked Calories not exceeded (+1) 2L water drank (+1) Flossed (+1) After yesterdays torrential downpours... everything is super waterlogged again at the bar the outdoor arena that was so dry it was a bit dusty on Tuesday is now a lake. Drive home yesterday sucked and I pouted because if I lived at that other house it wouldn't of taken so long or sucked as bad. My scale at home has finally decided I guess that I have lost enough weight again to start showing me my body %s again lol. I apparently have 49.1% body fat. Sounds about right. But despite that I am feeling quite lean today. I made a blueberry, banana protein shake this morning and it was not as filling as my other one. Also too sweet. I hate the vanilla protein powder. I ended up getting a bagel when my coworker said she was going to Timmies and asked if I wanted something. I could of just had an instant oatmeal or ate my lunch... but I didn't. Doctors appointment is in 3ish hours. 30 min drive 1 way for a 5 min appointment. yayyy lol I mean I will probably be there longer than 5 min just waiting. I feel he will be like 'here is a hydrocortisone cream..." I finish work at 4... so it doesn't quite make sense to drive back to work... but it doesn't make sense to drive back home really either because it is also a 30 min drive there. Mainly because I will just end up having to drive to the barn later anyways and its 35 mins from home. Rookie Posted June 6, 2019 Author Report Share Posted June 6, 2019 So doctor was a waste of time and i was reminded why I don't bother going. Made the 30 min drive there... Waited 20 mins past my appointment. He comes in... Listens to what's wrong. Says he doesn't see any physical symptoms but he trusts I have them. Asks if I've tried an antihistamine. Tells me if I get open sores in my mouth to come back but to take daily reactine as a preventative. I reiterate that its very sporadic and spread out... And ask if I should just take it when I'm having a reaction then. He then said I should make a food journal and track what I eat to see if anything causes it.... I told him nothing I ate would of. So yah take reactine and food journal. Good talk. This whole exchange took less than 5 minutes. I didn't expect him to solve this. I was hoping for a referral to a allergist. I wish I could get into shakes, but I just haven't found that I enjoy them. I've been doing a whole wheat English muffin, 1/4 avocado, 1 slice cheddar cheese, a thick slice of tomato, 1 egg and 1 egg (substitute). It's been filling and good, but after two weeks I'm kind of over it. So I'm bringing up the overnight oats recipes again. It's hotter now so they are good and quick to grab. But I have issues remembering to make them at night... so I have to a backup plan in case that happens. And then, since I have the backup plan I tend to use that as an excuse to just eat that. I hate adulting. At least I didn't have to pay out of pocket for the visit just through my taxes lol -.- I'd be more enraged if I did.... I don't LOVE the shake but I don't mind it and its easy to have on the drive in and it prevents me going to Starbucks. When I work from home Fridays I usually have 2 eggs on a toast or something like that. I was never able to get on the overnight oats train lol but my friend LOVES them. When I did try to make them I would make 3 at a time in mason jars. So that would help you as long as it wasn't prep night haha. My one friend does slowcooker oatmeal and that is meant to last the week for her and her kids. She obviously puts it in the fridge lol. Rookie Posted June 7, 2019 Author Report Share Posted June 7, 2019 Week 2, Thursday Food tracked Went over calories 2L water (+1) Flossed (+1) Yesterday was just a hungry day and I think it is a combination of things.... 1) I messed up with my shake choice 2) I didn't pack a super "balanced" lunch 3) I wasn't ontop of my water drinking (aka not drinking water when my body clearly needed it) 4) Willpower was not strong yesterday when offered timbits and when I went home and there were rice krispies made So it was very carb heavy. On top of that I wasn't as good at drinking water. The extra carbs of yesterday made me want more food. I think I ended up being 500 calories over or so. Which honestly isn't as bad as it used to be BUT we are not making excuses. To try and help start today off strong I packed my lunch and weighed everything out and its already in MyFitnessPal (I don't usually do this the night before when I work from home). Ride yesterday we took it easy because Daisy is getting feetsie issues again The wet has done no favours to her feet at all and she looks like she is WAY overdue for a trim even though shes on her normal trimming cycle. Usually today is cheat meal day. Yesterday I pulled some of the pesky crawling vine things that take over my plants and grass.. and I feel I didn't even make a dent. I also did some painting. Rookie Posted June 8, 2019 Author Report Share Posted June 8, 2019 So we drove around the area that the house is for sale. The drive felt a bit long getting there but wow. I love it there. He loves it there. We were both just so at peace. The house we originally found says 2000+sqft but the video for it says 1100sqft (which would be a downgrade). So we are unsure. But we both definitely could see us living in that area. We stopped at a little bakery and got a meat pie and homemade icecream cookie sandwich. Mmm.. people in the smaller neighborhoods would wave or nod as you passed by. It was really nice. Current house is protesting us looking at things I guess because our sliding patio door decided the lock no longer works. If I put it in the lock position it won't lock. Rookie Posted June 10, 2019 Author Report Share Posted June 10, 2019 I am beyond tired today and the gloomy weather is of no help. And I feel random super itchy spots cause I think I walked through a bit of poison ivy Saturday and I am highly sensitive to it. Pretty sure all it takes it looking at it and I will get it. Of course thinking about it is just making me itchier. I didn't bother tracking Saturday or Sunday. Which I will probably regret but oh well. Saturday before the drive I attempted to fix the sliding door but I think we need a whole new locking mechanism. After the drive I fully intended to work on my new commission but just wanted to get a few chores out of the way first. Went to Rona, got some things.... (new faucet, lubricant, weed removing tool etc). I turned off the water, drained the flex hose and tried to remove the faucet from the powder room and it was not having it. Put everything back, turned the water back on :/ had to take the dogs out so I was removing some weeds while I took the dogs out and broke the weed removing tool so had to make another trip to Rona to return it. Just urgh. I didnt end up getting to paint Saturday. Visit with my friend went well. Dropped off all the stuff to her and got rid of my 3 garbage bags of clothes. It was 1.5hrs drive each way which sucked and that is why I don't see her much anymore. When I got home I figured I would have time to paint... jokes... had to make dinner because even though it was 7:30 they hadn't made dinner..... and then we ended up watching shows the rest of the night until I said I had to go make lunches for today. And its raining... So my feet and legs will get wet again getting Daisy... Thursday I had to ride without socks because down my foot went.
