DOMS, DOMS everywhere... Burpeeing after so long pause has it's downsides...

today:

5 pull ups

10 burpees

2x20 32kg swings

90sec plank (30sec standard, 30sec one legged right, 30sec left)

tried to do 40kg TGUs, but managed to do only one right side... on left side I wasn't able to do even 32kg :(

finished off with 5 slow chin ups.

I absolutely CAN run on caffeine and hatred. But only with a dash of milk.

The weirdest DDOMS I ever got was abs from doing a sh*t ton of burpees and push ups of various varieties. Sure, my arms were sore but the abs part was kinda unexpected.

I postulate that slow chin ups and pull ups actually tax your muscles more ^^

I find right side plank and left side plank more tiring then standard plank. I can do standard plank for like 2 min, but find 30 s / side problematic.

Yeah, but almost same amount of burpees destroy me. This perfectly shows I'm strength oriented, and you are endurance-master :)

Can we count 12 hour workshift as a workout?

...no?

Fair enough, half of this time I drove...

But... after I drove 3 hours to deliver control panel from one of our machines for repair (and waited there several hours) I did 85 pushups in 15 minutes in the back of our cargo van.

This should be enough to call a workout :)

Life got hectic, no training for this week anymore.

On Wednesday I barely dodged the bullet when I almost ripped off rear axle from my car. Looks like mechanic who was supposed to secure rusted axle mount two years ago did poorly. Thanks it was on low speed, this way I just hit the curb and went on the side. I don't even want to think what could happen on 100km/h+ speed on a motorway...

Anyway, no injury, just old car damaged beyond reasonable repair. So... I'm hunting new one. Every day after work I drive around (luckily we have more than one car in family :)) and check offers I find online. Because of this I'm taking sort of involuntary rest week... but first things first. Once I sort out car stuff, I'll get back to exercising.

No, as I said - it happened at low speed. Absolutely no injury for me, but car is beyond repair and I'm in the process of getting a new one... which is so time-consuming I'm taking a break from anything else (incl. exercising and bike build). I should be done in couple days, so it won't be extensively long break.

Quite good, thank you. I did all the reasonable "new-used car service" for now, so I think it won't be so time-consuming for a while. There are still some stuff to do (registration, A/C service, insurance), but that should go easier.

And yeah, I need not to forget about eating. Last week I skipped dinner two days in a row and suddenly scale showed 75kg. I think it's because it finally got warmer (spring this year is extra super late...). Last summer/fall I ate around 3K kcal for stable weight, but in winter I needed to cut it to 2700ish to keep weight at same level. Maybe it's time to up my intake back :)

Suddenly, the Spring attacked. Or Summer. 30 degrees Celsius when no more than a week ago we had 0 degrees in the morning... Sigh.

15 min burpees? Meh, not feeling like it.

15 min push-ups? More likely.

8x5

Running? Maybe...?

I was thinking KB deadlifts - this can be done with my arm (it hurts mostly when  I raise elbow to shoulder level or higher). And maybe squats or stair climbing.
