Main:

Monkey bars: one way and back. Gotta work on the prongs - the ones I have are square in cross-section and have sharp edges - they hurt my palms even in gloves. 

Rope: up 3 meters, two times (to remember how it's done).

Mar. 21st

 

Postponed running for tomorrow. I'm not very well mentally due to various things, and the weather change was drastic. Yesterday was 16C and sunny with some clouds, today was 2C and freezing rain and windy.

 

So, let's say today was a rest day :)

Mar. 22nd

 

Run: 5.3km, 28:00 - pace 5:17/km (8:30/mi).

Forest roads, temp oscillating around freezing point, mild snow and wind. 

Didn't felt like doing anything, forced myself to run anyway. No PR, but good I did it anyway.

Mar. 23rd

 

Tried my max (decent form) pull-ups - still 8. Maybe I need more volume? Let's add another set.

And in case volume isn't what I need, I will add weight here. I think adding 1-2 kg every week will be something I can do consistently for some time.

Second TGU on the left arm was bit too much - at the end of it I started to lose stability in my arm. No more pushing further until I can do it safely.

All day felt a bit weak, and it showed - third and fourth TGUs with 24kg were hard as heck.

Run: 5:25km, 28:08 - pace 5:22/km (8:37/mi)

 

I might be getting ill or something (or maybe just overtired) - again felt weak all day, and training didn't fixed that.

Rest day. Gotta use it wisely to get myself back on my feet. Which will be tricky, as time change (we use DST) just robbed me from an hour of sleep.

Upped the load on weighted pull-ups.

 

On the other hand, I needed to switch to lighter kettlebell with my TGUs. I started with 24kg, but my form was very poor, I was shaking and had issues with keeping stable. Pushing with this would be plain dangerous. 

I think I need to work on my rest, sleep etc - for last couple days I feel tired all the time and this might be my body signalling something's wrong. Gotta investigate.

24kg TGU's were still hard, but not AS hard as two days ago. In short, I managed to do 4 reps before switching to 16kg bell.

 

I think it's not about amount of sleep, rather about it's quality. I toss and turn, wake often etc. I decided to give a try to some 10-15 min relaxation exercises in the evening - maybe this will help me sleep better.

Jump rope: 15 min.  5 min in and I got a stitch. Tried to jump through it like I did couple times when running, but it was so painful I needed to stop. I tried to start jumping again, but as soon as I did, the stitch came back and forced me to stop. All I got from this was that I got angry... Definitively not my day.

Slower again (note to self: Don't freak out about it! Don't freak out!)

Still feeling weak - to be honest this run felt more like sleepy, paralytic jog. I somehow lost this smooth feel to running. I really need to rest better.
