You seem to be doing well taking into account just how much your life has changed. I hope the contract comes through for you. Thinking a lot of you.

Thanks, Elize. I'm not sure how well I'm doing honestly, but I'm trying to keep my head above water. It's really frustrating waiting, and I don't want to do a lot of things because money is beyond tight. Plus my foot still hurts. I dunno. This too shall pass.

It shall pass, but honestly it is very stressful to move, and you moved to a totally different state, and got some heaps of difficulties on top of it! I think you are doing extremely well for the position you are finding yourself in. You and I will keep the hope and prayers up. Just hold on. :love_heart:

Awesome! I'm always so proud of and happy for my friends when they have good boundaries or ask for help. Both is incredible!

I love how this is worded. Any changes to make on your mind? Travel plans?

Hey snarky, thanks. I started out trying to think about goals and found myself hitting a big ole road block. I think that a lot of me has resistance to firm goals at the moment, and I'm not really sure what to do about it. That led me to shift to thinking about intentions. The words that came up for me were - satisfied, grounded, and capable. I'm not sure how to work things out further from there yet, but I'm going to keep marinating on these words and see if some daily actions can grow out of them.

In terms of travel, I have a few work related trips coming up in the future but I'm having a hard time planning much further than that without knowing what my work schedule will be. The waiting is killing me. Anyways, I'm heading to Atlanta in the beginning of August for a board review course and then to Washington DC in the beginning of October for our international infectious diseases conference where I'm presenting a poster. So there are some fun things coming in the future.

Oooh infectious diseases poster! That sounds interesting! :D

Waiting sounds like a pain in the ass. Hopefully you’ll be able to hop into work before you know it!  I like the words you’ve chosen, and respect that you are letting them sit with you while you think a bit. Sometimes just being present in the moment and taking a breath before choosing a direction is really hard! I tend to leap to anything else rather than sit with ....any feeling. It takes some inner strength to be able to do that!
