Warrior Side Quest! Move that Shuttle

Greetings fellow Warriors!

Now that the squads have been announced I say it it time for a little friendly competition, yeah?

So here’s the deal: I am a huge face of space, the outer kind. And it just so happens that one of the space shuttles is being laid to rest during our 6 challenge. The USS Enterprise is set to be placed on the deck of the USS Intrepid on June 6th. How cool is that! So in honor of this moment we’re going to lift the whole sheebang ourselves. It’ll be muscles vs muscles vs machine.

The Specifics

Guess how much the Space Shuttle weighs? Fully loaded and ready to take a ride space? 2,030 tons. 4,470,000lbs. Good thing you’ve got your team on your side.

The rules are simple. If you move a weight at all it counts. Warming up with only a bar? Sweet, you’ve just moved 45lbs. Ridiculous worksets? Great! You can total them up and add it to the sheet.

Every time you press, dead lift, squat, clean, snatch, anything, with any weight total it up and add it to the spreadsheet linked below! Now this is going to take a while and will be a long term side challenge.

Let’s see who is stronger, us or the machines.

So get to it rebels!

UPDATE:

For those wanting to add in push ups or pullups into the mix the consensus is sure since you are moving weight after all! The following rules apply though:

Full push ups - 65% of body weight

Knee/Incline push ups - 45% of body weight

Pullups - 90% of body weight (since you aren't moving your arms much). So go forth and add it up. :D

Also, for those late to the game, you can add up all weights since the beginning of the challenge.

So looking forward to this one.

Quick question - can we count bodyweight when we do pull-ups? What about pushups and other bodyweight exercises? Or is this only going to be additional iron moved?

Love it, and I had the same question regarding body weight since I have pull-ups in my challenge. Also, do we add any workouts done this week since our challenges started this week?

Also, since this is a long-term challenge, can we use the weight we've already moved since Monday? :)

I hope so! Got mine added up for this week already (minus BW stuff until that is decided on). :)

I like this plan, I also really like adding up my weights after a workout. "Oh, I lifted 24,050 lbs today, damn right I did!"

YES! Talk about motivating!

OK....how do I change the kg to lbs? It says click for validation, choose from list, or something. But there is no list.

EDIT: more specifically, this "validation Click and enter a value from the list of items"
