This sounds great and I'm in!!

I want to go for:

1) Finishing my Bachelors Thesis:

On days were I have a 4 hour window in the morning I want to go for at least 3 hours (i.e. 6 bricks). This is normally Wednesday-Saturday, sometimes Monday. 
I want to set the days at the beginning of the week so there are no excuses

2) 30 min of exercise twice a week

 

Last question of mine: 

On what day are we starting then?

Sorry I haven't been on. Ran into some weird glitch where I could sign in, but couldn't interact at all. Nerdfitness IT was on it though & fixed it today. :)

 

You can start today if you like. The spreadsheet is only geared to count points for 4 weeks, so use week 0 as a testing phase.

I'm going for:

1. Housework 6 bricks (includes out-of-house errands)

2. Music 1 brick (2-3 x per week)

3. Drawing 1 brick (1-2 x per week)

 

I may have to tweak these a bit as I don't always have enough housework to make 6 bricks & since I'm new to drawing; I have no idea how long it will take me to draw something.

 

There are other items listed in my challenge post; but I'm just counting these for MTU.

Since I believe we start today (5.1.2020) I have set my goals for the next few days. I've got a lot of time to work on my Bachelors thesis and I will better use it!

 

Sun 5.1. 3 Bachelor Thesis 1 Workout -done!

Mon 6.1. 12 BT

Tue 7.1. 10 BT 1 Workout

Wed 8.1. 11 BT 2 Workout

The monkey is kicking my butt.

 

I found on YouTube this morning an idea. Basically it's a Distraction Journal, and how it works is I put away my phone to do something productive, and I have a table on a piece of paper and it has so many columns on it with general reasons why I would check my phone e.g. email/text, social media, fidgeting, etc and then put a tally down every time I reach for my phone for some reason while working. Fidgeting is the tell-tale one, the one that shows how much I look to my phone as a distraction. I might try it (combined with pomodoro) since Thermodynamics is suddenly getting hard and work is suddenly more demanding. :'D

Ok. So bricks are (I have a no Friday night & full day Saturday exemption):

30 minutes of music practice 

30 minutes of Hebrew

15 minutes of writing

Varied household tasks in 15 minute blocks (may do a household game to motivate me if anyone's interested; just let me know)

All of this starts tomorrow.
