Yesssss i'm glad you had such a good time!

Or could do none of that and sleep.........

Maybe do one cleaning thing, like a general picking-up, and then make yourself a nice meal (so you'll get nutrition which will help you feel better/good) and then relax? Or do one thing and then have a nap, and do more things when you get up? What do you think you'll feel best about later on?

Hey again, just needed to say how amazing my bath was :o

Really hot and i listened to Nick Cave, lots of bubbles, now im all clean and cosy and lovely. Jackson is next to me on the sofa ❤️ purring softly. Im cooling down and my skin is all prickly with the change in temperature.

Im going to try have a successful weekend. My chores for the weekend are as followed:

- Clean inside of car, either bin things or sort out in the flat.

- Top up the gas card

Take meds every day

- Keep on top of emails

- Keep on top of cleaning

- Write weekly diary out

- Water houseplants

- Play with Jackson

- Watch Everton at midday (Saturday)

- Go to the gym

- Eat well (track nutrition) and drink enough water

- Work on the clients website (create GIF for her homepage)

- Sunday eve message welder in Middlesbrough to confirm meeting time.

Pretty busy but hoping its good to be kept distracted and i can go through the lists and feel good in the evening that i have worked hard. x

Feel a lot better

That's what I was telling some time earlier - if you just move (doing chores is great exercise :) ), you most probably will feel better, both physically and emotionally.

I'm happy you had a good time at the pubs, great job resisting the drugs! Your weekend plans look nice and solid - and this:

Hey all, 5.20pm here, my word its cold, the weather is turning, tomorrow is going to be MEGA BAD WINDY and torrential rain and storms eeeek.

Its been lovely and sunny today. I cleaned up a little bit, had the window open to air out the room. Then got going with the car, which was a TIP. Now its much cleaner inside and i even went to the tip to get rid of some bits!! Listened to music mega loud in the car and had a fun drive haha

NEED to do a kettlebell workout though, always let it slip and dont end up doing it....shameful.

Finally, ill do some work this eve, listen to music, perhaps pop a film on. x

Can you do the kettlebell workout while you listen to music, or while the film is on? Doesn't work for everyone of course- i can't really pay attention to a film while trying to workout as well, but my mom finds it helpful to have a show on the television while she walks in place or does her exercises. Or if that's a no-go then...maybe instead of thinking about the 20 minutes at first, just tell yourself to do a small, set number of reps, like five to start with? Or tell yourself all you have to do is go pick up the kettlebell, which usually lead to doing something with it but there's no pressure if it doesn't? Last idea, could you give yourself an "after I...then I'll..." or "Before I...I will..." cue? Like, "Before I top up the gas card, I'll do x amount of kettlebell reps" or "After I do x part of work, then I'll do x number of reps...then I'll have my little chocolate!"

Anything that works to help you get started is good and valid, it's just a matter of what works for you ❤️ ❤️

Thank you Mia :)  yes also said about hooking up to my internet and paying half so again, will help. Its fast enough for two surely as well. If not we said she can get her own. But its good so should be fine!

Yay Everton and YAY £80 win haha :D

I did the kettle bell yes, prob for 10/12 mins so half the time but less break between stuff. Its heavy and now im sore (in a good way) i know its barely anything and its a bit embarasing to do such little movement but i suppose its a start.

I might try to do some walking in the gym tmoro. I think what would help me, would be a good workout plan for footballers. I could look into that.

Ive decided i doubt i want to do long distance running. I get bored too quickly. But something to help me play footy would be great....!

I also went to the shop and topped the gas card up. But im quite warm under my duvet at the moment so no need to put heating on. Im drinking my third glass of water as well yay.

Thanks for the suggestion, i listened to hip hop whilst lifting the kettlebell (squatting mainly) it was good and i thought of you :)

I must admit my mood is slipping a bit, wanting to go out partying...my friends are out and asked if i wanted to join them :( i should stay in though really.

I cant afford it plus i went out thursday. should let my body recover.

hmmmmm xx

Long distances are okay when you work on endurance (which is also important for a footy), but for a field you can focus mainly on sprints. It's way more useful to start fast, get the ball and pass it further than be able to maintain medium pace for an hour or four. Shuttle run is a name of funny exercise to work both on sprint speed and agility. And you can do it at home as well :)

Put some good movie on, might distract you from thinking on partying. AND - watching a movie might end with Jacks on your laps - beat that!

Hugs!

Hey alllllll. 5am here. Wow the weather is crazy already.... very high winds and a LOT of rain. Im worried the back yard will flood..... ill keep an eye on it.

Up early, couldnt sleep much, when i wake up, its hard for me to get back to sleep and i hate lying in bed awake.

Looking at yesterdays list, i did everything apart from cleaning the kitchen. I will do that today.

I created the gif for my clients website, and this is what she said when i sent it to her....

'aaaaagh oh my god that is AWESOME!!!! I love it, SO much. You are a genius. You have blown my mind, it is incredible THANK YOU!!!!'

hahahHAHA i think she likes it....??! :D it did take me ages, ive animated a fish that she had embroided...and its swimming round a pond, in and out etc. Hard to explain but i can show you when  i have built the website, the gif will be on the home page.

Anyway todays tasks:

- Write up new challenge (i hope the new boards go up today??)

- Track nutrition for the day and stick to it!

- Drink 3 glasses of water

- Tidy room up, put clothes away/sort

- Clean kitchen, wash dishes

- Reply to incoming emails

- Go to the gym (!)

- Watch the football

- Begin proposal for Jerwood application

- Self care (read, meditate, bath)

Kind of a busy day again, but ive found lately that getting tasks done through the day is so good for my wellbeing.

In regards to the challenge end, im unsure i achieved much? I didnt follow my goals very well.... although i do think tracking nutrition was ok and at least i survived January. Hoping Feb is better!!! xx

and you did lotta more!

To name some from top of my head, you:

1. survived January against all odds. Dealt with funding applications being refused etc,

2. mostly cleaned your nutrition, found and addressed the undereating issue

3. found a way (making to-do lists) to keep yourself busy (positively) throughout the day, without forgetting self-care

4. bought a kettlebell and started using it :)

Wow @aramis way to make me feel good about things :) thank you!

Yes it may not be perfect but i did achieve more than i thought...

_____________

8.45am now, Jackson is sleeping half on my knee, half on the sofa. Ive created the beginning of a new video, Which i think is kinda cool and interesting. AND i did some reading on Marvin Gaye. What an interesting man he was. Cant believe he was shot by his dad.... (and cant believe i didnt know that already!)

Listening to the immaculate album 'Whats going on' now. Really good.

Im tired, ive been up 4 hours already...

I keep having really bad thoughts and slipping up a bit in regards to my mood. Its the 'whats the point' thoughts. But im managing to keep them sort of at bay so far. Just difficult at times to not give in (mainly cos its easier to give in)
