Learning to read music is a great start. I never learned recorder, but I know it is a very popular way to teach music.

It is an upright piano & wayyy out of tune. The inside needs cleaned out badly. 😞

Almost slid into The Black Abyss (yes, I have a name for depression), but I slammed my icepick (prayed a lot) into the side of the cliff & managed to get to the top again (Thank God). I haven't been hit that hard in a while; so let's hope that's it for a bit.

Today was sort of a mixed bag because for some reason I forgot it was Thursday, did some house stuff (routine stuff so I don't list it here) & then mom needed help getting dressed. I walked back the hallway & 🕐OH NO IT'S THURSDAY & MOM HAS A DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT IN A HALF HOURSo I'm hurrying to get her dressed & ready. She's freaking out & refusing to go. I'm telling her she's got to go. Finally I get her in the car & she's still complaining. We get done at the doctor's & she has finally calmed down. At this point I'm mentally exhausted & also hungry so we go get something to eat & then head home.

I did not make good food choices & a lot of my challenge didn't get done today because my focus was blown.

Lesson learned: check my calendar every day!

 

Wow it felt good to unload all of that. *sigh*

I think that it is amazing that you can take care of your mom and work on yourself at the same time. You might have of made poor food choices, but you got so much done and you recognize that you made those poor choices. You even made it a point to remind yourself about checking the calendar everyday. So, I think that is really a great win. You are able to see your actions and make notes on them, that is hard.

Hi all. I updated my Friday listings.

Saturday

Took a rest from rest from planking as my back still hurt. Did do the Butt Lift Challenge though

Sunday

It was couple's day so after my mom was picked up; we hung out at the house, went out for lunch, went shopping, & picked mom up.
