This is happening a lot. RES quoted you on your new thread and it's showing as her having quoted me. 

Also the automatic "edited by" is back , and I do not want everyone to know how frequently I make spelling mistakes.

As GLs we see when any thread has been edited regardless of when the box has been checked. The box being checked means everyone else can see it's been edited. When I click edit on a post the "Let everyone See" box is not automatically checked.

It was on my own post on my thread and it's never happened before. I didn't get a box to tick and I didn't tick it so who knows!
