Wild Wolf
The journey continues... Last we saw our hero, Wild Wolf aka The Wolfitrator take on demons of unknown origins. The challenge was steep, and while not perfect, Wolf crawled out of the fire more battle hardened then before. Where there was magic and swords before, what lays before you is gun powder and frag grenades. This new journey is unforgiving. One simple mistake, one slip up can mean the difference between a look at your kill cam and a victory dance while tea bagging the enemy squad. Wild Wolf will need to dig deep and become a wraith on the battlefield, something more than mere human. He must become a tactical human. Not only in body but in mind and spirit, too. He must hear the rifle report before the 7.62x39mm round lands home. He must see the enemy before they see him. He must infiltrate the spawn points and take up every power position he can get his grubby hands on. Nothing is guaranteed. Nothing is promised. But success is there for the taking. Stay tuned as our tattooed hero checks his magwell and gets down to brass tax! *Click Click BOOM* Goal 1: Firing on all Cylinders Workouts. Diet. I started a perfect trend the last two weeks of the last challenge and want to keep up the momentum. I still haven't established the discipline I want and so the journey continues here. 3x a week workouts. At least 2 meals with veggies in them. Ready-set-GO! Possible Stat Points: +1 STR, +2 DEX, +2 CON Goal 2: Safeties Off Truth Time: I've been avoiding HIIT style workouts because they suck. They're hard. I sweat a shit ton.... but these are just whiny excuses that the old me would be ok with. NOT. ANY. MORE. On top of the 3x a week strength training, 1x a week (bare minimum) will be dedicated to a HIIT workout. These can be quick too. 10, 15, or even just 20 min will get me so much bang for my buck, it's unreal. Utilize my 35# and 45# KB's as well as the gyms array of KB's to get in a sick metcon that melts the fat and explodes the metabolism into overdrive. Possible Stat Points: +3 END, +2 DEX Goal 3: House Hunting April 1st marks the end of our tenure at the apartments we are in. And so begins a new chapter for the Wolfpack™. We're going to do everything we can to ensure we get into a house! WOOT WOOT! My mom is a real estate agent and has been sending us various houses to look at and the time is NOW to get things rolling. We are about 45 days away before we need to have something nailed down so when I say it's crunch time, it truly is CRUNCH TIME! I don't work 2 jobs for the hell of it. I've had my site set on getting us into a house every since I started working at Costco back in late-July of last year. Heather and I and our kids are soooooooooooooooo looking forward to this new chapter. We need to be diligent. First things first, we need to get our income tax filed. We should have that done in the next 2 weeks. Then... we start house hunting! Possible Stat Points: +2 WIS, +3 CHA Is there a word that exceeds being focused? If so, that's what I am right now. I'm BEYOND focused right now! Thank you for taking the time to support me during this crazy and exciting time in my life right now . Let's rock n roll! We're all lucky to have you as our friend Zero Week Day 1 update (Yesterday): Had a good workout. Two of the exercises were "Race to 100" which gets pretty gnarly towards the end. One set of 100 reps was lat pull down and the other was straight arm pull down from a standing position. I ate exceptionally well! Post workout: 1x brownie protein bar Breakfast: wilted spinach, rolled oats, 2x mushroom, spinach and sausage egg muffins and blueberries Lunch: taco seasoned beef tips, cauliflower mash and a red/yellow/orange/black bean/corn quinoa salad with lime juice, cumin and avocado oil for flavor Snack: 1x can of tuna with salsa and some mayo and a bag of sea salt popcorn chips 1 whole veggie cauliflower pizza (from Costco) SOOOOOOOOOOOO good! I actually called into Costco yesterday. Just wasn't feeling it, lol, and Heather convinced me to stay. I ended up taking a nap with Trixie and slept for like 2 hours! Woke up, ate dinner, watched and episode of Locke and Key on Netflix. It's been a wild show. The boys like it too, especially Orin, the 5 year old, of all people. It's not scary. Maybe a little creepy, but, we enjoy it. Then after we put the kids to bed, Heather and I watched two episodes of Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet on Apple TV. That show is HILARIOUS! Highly recommend if you get a chance. Then I played CoD for about an hour before I hit the hay. Season 2 starts today and I'm soooo stoked! They are introducing 2 new guns and a couple new operators, including the new Ghost Woot woot!!! Today is gonna be a chill day. Nothing planned except working both jobs, eating good and maybe getting in a nap or two. Happily the alleged photographic evidence was conveniently "destroyed" to protect accused parties. 3 3 Quote [Level ??] Rurik, the Wayfinder Class: Gloomfall Gunslinger (Artificer/Gunslinger) BRUTALITY 11 | FINESSE 10 | VIGOR 11 | INSIGHT 14 | WILL 13 Equipment: The Alchemist greatcoat armor, Longshot adventuring rifle, Slicer & Dicer dual blades, with adventurer's pack containing an alchemist's kit. Glad to have you here, RPG I work with what I got for the most part but I have a lot of help too. My wife is a life saver when it's all said and done. I couldn't do NEAR the stuff I do without her assistance, lol. 21 hours ago, aramis said: All my life TBH. It started with junior team for firefighter's sports competition. And as I'm volunteer, just as I was 18 I went for official course and was legally able to take part in every intervention. Here in Poland (at least in rural areas) local volunteer units in almost every village are the core of the system. Just realized - this year it will be 20 years of service That's badass, man! And from Poland?? That's swanky, too! Zero Week, Day 3: Worked a long day yesterday but managed to get in a total of 105 min of nap time in. My shift yesterday (and today) was 4:45-9:45. Granted, I only got one break for the 5 hour shift, the caveat is that I didn't have to close. The overall work day, between both jobs, was chill. However, I was a little thrown off at Costco. Why? Because I got talked to about "talking too much". Let me lay the scenario out for you real quick: I was stationed at the exit door. And for those who don't know how Costco does things, we have an employee, sometimes 2 at the exit door to check receipts and make sure that the members weren't overcharged (or in rare cases trying to steal extra stuff). It is my job to count the items as best as I can and then send them on there way. Sometimes I draw kickass smiley faces for the kiddos because I'm cool like that. Well, we had an influx of members come down the exit door and the line got backed up. One of the managers came by and was basically complaining that I was the reason the line was backed up and then not 5 min later, someone came to replace me at the door. I already knew I was "pulled" from the door because of the line being backed up. 10 min after that, one of the supervisors talks to me and tells me that I talk too much and I need to work more and talk less when I'm at the door... It really bugged me. 1) I'm not talking too much. I'm engaging in conversations with members when they talk to me i.e providing excellent customer service. 2) I'm SUPPOSED to check all the items. But apparently, according to the manager who was accusing me of talking to much, there's a "gray area" in that. *Sigh* I'm venting now, but I've honestly dropped the issue and moved on. It's something stupid to keep being upset about because I know they were wrong. In other news, today is my last day working both jobs for the rest of the weekend! WOOT WOOT! Heather and I have that marriage conference at our church Fri/Sat and then I used my MLK floating holiday Sunday to have the whole weekend off . I'm super stoked to have that time with Heather this weekend. The boys are going to my step moms and of course, Princess aka The Warden formerly known as Trixie will be with us. I'm declaring it right now. This weekend is gonna be amazing! I worked out today and I'm feeling really good. I'm eating better than I have in a long time. Tanktimus the Encourager
Have fun this weekend. FWIW when I used to go to Sams I always hated the count the items thing. It was such a waste of time (and they did have employees who actually DID talk to much, to the point we complained about it). What's stupid is that when the line gets long, as you said, there is a "Grey area." If it's not important when they are busy and there's much more likelihood of an error, why bother when it isn't busy? Also, shouldn't they be teaching their cashiers better if they need quality control on their scanrate? 3 Quote Current Challenge "By the Most-Righteous-and-Blessed Beard of Sir Tanktimus the Encourager!" - Jarl Rurik Harrgath Link to comment

I'm guilty for liking to chat, but not at the cost of holding up the line. If I say anything, it's usually WHILE i'm counting items, and it usually just involves a particular item I've had and I say "Ohhhh that's really good!" or "Ohhhh, that looks good! Enjoy that!". I'm not trying to tell them my life's story lol. 56 minutes ago, Tanktimus the Encourager said: Have fun this weekend. Thank you sir! We're both excited!
