It was 31 out :P 43 by the end of my run. But I've been running outside so much that my body was acclimated enough to overheat like instantly haha

Thank you for the pokes, friends! I'm here!! I haven't missed a workout in 3 weeks. 6 days a week works pretty well, it seems. I kept food this week simple this week and repeated last week's meal plan... I've been in a menu rut. However as I look at these photos, I am really excited to see they show my face is thinning out. I haven't measured or weighed in a month. I'll do it at the end of this challenge. I don't want to get negative thoughts in my head right now because I've been so motivated. What matters RIGHT NOW is that I am FEELING great and excited for the Half Marathon in three weeks! 9 miles this weekend was rough, but I ate and hydrated awful the day before, so that is totally my fault.

Greetings from a very sweaty me.

I did 60/90 (5.5mph, 3mph) intervals for 30 minutes today. I think I will increase to 75/90 next week...

So I am 100% on my goals so far, except logging food. I am getting to the point again where I KNOW when I am over eating or having a bad day, which is the goal when I get back on MFP usually. I do need to be better at tracking, still, so I don't fall off too far.

Nice job kicking all the butt.

I love the feeling great bit!   It's like, don't even bother with scales or what not - just know you're doing the thing and it's making you FEEL GREAT!  Yeah!

 

High five from fellow 6x a weeker right now.     I'm on week 3 of nailing 3/3 strength/move workouts, rarr!    And while I track my food - I'm still eating dumb foods and too much of them when I do.   Might really kick it in high gear starting tomorrow.

OMGGGG I AM STILL HERE.

 

Plus a foot injury.

 

But I'm here. 10 miles and I hurt my foot. 

But I revamped my meal planning to include more protein. I was seeing that I was pretty consistently at only 25% or lower and always hungry, so we're trying out 30-35% to see how that goes. It's just... mostly because I've always struggled with getting enough protein but staying under calories. 

 

Do other people struggle with that??

Hope the foot heals quickly.

 

I average about 25- 28% protein, getting more is really tough, When I'm in deficit I try and bump it up to about 30%. It means a lot of chicken or white fish. In the morning I do 1 egg and 2 egg whites, which helps get the protein numbers up without a lot of added calories

I used to have that issue - used to supplement unflavored collagen in my smoothies and have grilled chicken breast strips as a snack when I was too low for the day. Egg whites were also a good add for dinners.

I feel best at 30. I don't like fish and get bored of chicken. Fast. It can be so hard!

Well poop.

 

For the last few days I've only been lifting to rest my foot. Prepping for an 11 miler Saturday.

 

Just got an email that the race is postponed or cancelled.

 

My office is remote until the 27th. I start vacation on the 26th-30th. I am literally not back in the office until April.

 

Wow.

 

I'm cool with it, though. I can train harder and longer once my foot heels and we don't need to spread shit. I'm sad to miss my fifth year. I'm sad my streaker award isn't coming home with me.

 

But needs of the many, y'all

I'm here!! I've been ill, but I felt better yesterday...

 

I was pouting a bit because I really wanted to run. Unfortunately, my foot is still really sore. I am beginning to believe I ended up with a stress fracture.

 

Back to lifting today. Worked out virtually with friends today.
