Challenge Wrap Up

Frodo - Write = A+

I've been consistently writing on my novel and working on my manuscripts and other research at work. I had the idea to tie my novel writing to finishing my morning pages each morning, which has made it much more of a habit. I managed to resubmit my manuscript to the journal on Friday with a short turn around time too, so I'm quite proud of that. This was my biggest success of the challenge.

Sam - Friends = B

This was a hard thing to categorize and then was difficult in the time of social distancing. I've been trying to stay connected by texting and doing zoom with various people though, so I think I deserve credit for the effort. Not sure that I've made any progress on making local friends in Albany though.

Merry - Budget = A

This is a habit again, which is important for keeping myself honest and making sure that my financial choices are viable. I hope to maintain this going forwards.

Pippin - Move = C

My mind has been having a hard time first with the reaction to the trauma that we were processing in therapy and then with that and the anxiety from the coming storm of COVID-19. In the midst of that, a ton of resistance to movement popped up. Amy has helped me choose to respond with compassion instead of forcing myself to do more. I hope that Pippin would approve.

Definitely a mixed bag as far as challenges go, but I think I deserve an A just for sticking with it. So, congrats to myself.

DING. Level Up!
