They are a blend of 4 juices (this is why reading labels is important). I also recently found this out. I was planning on going in and out of the grocery, and ended up staring at labels for 15 minutes. Bastards... On 5/11/2020 at 4:15 PM, Snarkyfishguts said: oho! Yes, 100% cranberry is difficult to drink! But also, kind of fun. Vodka helps. LOL I mix it with Jack and peach schnapps. The wife loves it. I wonder how much Eddie Hall spends on juice a month. 2 Quote Valar Morghulis Halfling Monk, Chaotic Neutral Machete's Blog: Inside A Mad Mind Third World Warrior: The Eight-Year Training Log Link to comment

It is at this point that Sylvaa realizes she is slacking in the available alcohol department. As a family, we have three bottles of liquor in the house, none of which are "mixers". In other news in life: My 20th High School Reunion is now cancelled and as a class we are celebrating 21 in 2021 (for now). This is probably for the best as you know *gestures wildly* except I was definitely using this as a reason for continuing to try to look better. (Look people, I am all about people getting healthy for their own sake and I KNOW that it's not a healthy mindset to try for a "revenge body" but dammit, I want to). I finally have a phone again, now I'm just baby'ing it until I get a case. I did do a kettlebell workout (a small one) yesterday. I might keep that up. I just need to keep moving. Work is getting crazy (I'm averaging 4.5 meetings a day) and I've finally been able to get back to using my journal correctly, but I've kind of HAD to. Like, it's the only thing keeping me together. I actually need a more involved plan as I'm pretty sure it's going to start getting worse. 5 Quote Sylvaa's BattleLog Sylvaa's Tracking Spreadsheet Link to comment

Sylvaa
Current Mood: What have I been up to? @Machete I've been doing this 40 days of movement thing that I'm pretty sure you must have linked at some point (it seems like your kind of thing). Turkish Get Ups are kind of the worst thing in the world when you aren't used to them. I started out just doing them without weights because I was concerned about form. The girls came home yesterday, so my daughter and I are going to resume our 25 day workout program (we are on day 11). It's going to suck tomorrow. I also have an internet friend who is checking up on me every day to make sure I do my workout and drink my water. It's helping. But my FIL told my girls over the weekend that it doesn't really exist and is just a ploy to control society..... Here's the deal, I live in a fairly rural area. 6 of the top 10 employers in the area are either manufacturing or warehouses. I don't mean to disparage these, because they definitely contribute to a high level of employment in our area and to needed products not only locally, but nationally. That being said, the education level of the majority of people within these fields are either high school diplomas or trade school certifications. Misinformation has been rampant in our area and local politicians are using this to further their own agendas at the potential expense of the population. My FIL's feelings aren't really out of the norm for the area. Local politicians are trying to incite the populace to force the governor to reopen our county even though it's not in line with the recommendations set forth by the CDC. My county is still supposed to be in a red phase (i.e. stay at home order still in effect). People are mad about this. By the numbers - in a county of ~150K people, less than 5K have even been tested. We are at ~12% of the tested population coming up with a positive test. Our death rate per 100K is at 17.6. We are really poised to have everything become a dumpster fire as the local politicians are actively working to convince the populace it is a good idea to open early. As a family, we are adjusting. We are transitioning to an every other week grocery trip (with a weekly trip to the farmers market to supplement) and are looking at outsourcing meat, eggs, and milk from local farmers (which is something we want to do anyway). Other than my husband working in the office every other day (luckily, he wears suits, so he changes as soon as he gets home AND he doesn't interact with the public), we aren't leaving the house unless necessary. But it's still really concerning to see what the outcome of all of this is going to be. My husband's grandmother is still living and is continuing to show more and more signs of dementia. We've been communicating with his aunt, who has POA, but she lives in Georgia, so she hasn't really been super aware of what is going on. Up until recently, his grandmother has been lucid on phone calls, so his aunt was kind of discrediting what we were telling her was happening. It's now getting to the point that she can no longer be in denial. Not great timing, but there is a possibility she will end up in some sort of care setting before we get too late into this year. 5 2 Quote Sylvaa's BattleLog Sylvaa's Tracking Spreadsheet Link to comment

Sylvaa
Shower thoughts from Sylvaa: What have I been up to? My daughter jumped off the exercise train. It's fine, I'm still going without her. But she may restart today, more to follow I may have accidentally signed up for a Spartan at home Trifecta for next weekend. Did I already say I'm off traveling until at least October? Well, I am. There might be potential traveling between July and October, but only on an as needed basis, and rarely. Also, apparently between now and the rest of the year, travel has to be approved by a Sr VP. I'm very glad my company is kind. 8 Quote Sylvaa's BattleLog Sylvaa's Tracking Spreadsheet Link to comment
