sylph brain dumps

Challenge time frame complete. I brain dumped quite a bit here and we officially got ourselves to FL, which is good.

Fitness has taken a bit of a backseat, but I feel like I'm at least getting something done with the Hero's Journey stuff. Hubs and I have also taken to walking some laps around our apartment complex so we're getting some level of movement most days and getting out in the sun/warmth which is really nice.

Not a whole lot on the social front. FL is reporting record numbers of new daily confirmed cases, so who knows how this will all pan out going forward. I will continue to socially distance, stay home, wear my mask when/where necessary and wash my hands often. If the rest of the year is a wash, so be it.

Thoughts for next challenge currently center around getting some progress on the Hero's Journey, getting some cleaning/laundry habits sorted out in the new place and maybe some cooking/eating stuff. Maybe some sort of virtual socializing as well. I've joined a reddit and discord for the local area, so maybe that'll get some kind of personal connection that could turn into RL stuff once it feels safe to do so. Who knows at this point.

Bummer.. the crossfit guy you spoke to on the phone sounds sensible, but i can completely understand not wanting to risk anything with cases rising..

Oooh, that sounds like a good strat. Florida seems to be leaning hard into the YOLO lifestyle. 😬

I hope so!

And that this is the infection peak. 😕

I mean, I *did* see more people with masks on this week when grocery shopping, so that's at least some thing. Sigh.

Yeah, there are definitely people that are doing it well, but I'm back to attempting to do only things I *need* to do rather than things I'm *allowed* to do.

Yeah...So many places seem to be going back to 'business as usual' which is slightly terrifying. Hubs and I were just on the verge of 'do we feel like it's a reasonable risk to get a pizza delivered' and now we're back to 'Oh HELL no'
