I know I know I'm late ... this thing should've been up last week or something ... but hey better late than never right?

Alright I'm running again and again and again.

Goal - run an average of 12 miles a week!

I need to get back to my reading goal - I'm working though The Diamond Throne (The Elenium book 1) by David Eddings currently and will pick up a non-fiction next.

Goal finish 2 books !

Ran 6 miles yesterday to end the week with 15 total

Cooked Friday night and did pizza (packaged not delivery) last night - tonight should be another cook-in night as we went grocery getting yesterday and today.

Ironically that 6 miler came from messing up the directions of a 5 miler ... we didn't realize that we turned left when we were supposed to turn right

My most memorable runs come from getting lost and not following directions. Besides, who's gonna complain about an extra mile.

Midweek update!


Quest 1

Only one run so far this week - the wife wasn't feeling well Monday and Tuesday as her uterus was attempting to escape.

 

Today we did a bit over 4 miles in 52 minutes which I was and am happy with

.So far so good, though we are both busy tonight till 7pm and have already made plans to order in noms.

Friday Follow Up!


Quest 1

Knocked out 5 miles this morning - meant an early start to make sure we didn't - GPS was a BIT off ... route is only 5.05


Pace should ~ 12m15s

Wednesday was order in from our local chicken place

Last night dinner was pork loin with red potatoes and green beans - nom nom nom

Tonight will be another order in as D&D starts at 6pm! I probably should prepare SOMETHING for folks to do.

Twisted Tuesday

Quest 1

Sunday was a 6 miler which involved waiting on a train

So last week was a 15 mile week! 


Today was a 3.8 miler - we didn't realize we were going to be short of our 4 mile goal but that's okay as they were good miles to get under our feet

We ordered in once this holiday weekend - BBQ and Burgers from a tasty place

But I'm resolved to read Salt and read it I shall! Got it loaded on my kindle and will start tonight.

Thor's Day!

Quest 1

Got in a 5 mile this morning.

 

We got out a bit later than we should've and had to dodge a fair amount of people, cars, and bikes ... but still 5 miles is 5 miles.

So far so good here

Though we did order in Cuban from our favorite spot Tuesday as my wife didn't care for anything we had lined up after her not so great day

So far Salt has been rather interesting.

 

The initial chapter talks about the on and off state run monopoly of salt in China over the centuries. Rather fascinating
