Lockdown Weight Loss

Recommended Posts

Its been many a year since I last visited these pages. Back then, everything was great. The weights I was lifting and the weight I was on the scales were going in opposite directions.

Then life got in the way, as it tends to do. And so I found myself weighing over 94kgs (more than 200lbs for you 'mericans) and completely unfit.

Several weeks ago, hit the big 4-0 birthday, and decided it was time to get back on it. We're in lockdown, so no gym access. I have a 16kg kettlebell, but also have tennis elbow in my left arm, so that's not really an option. So, i went for a long walks and then downloaded a Cto5k app, and cut out unhealthy snacks.

I'm currently on week 2 of the running program, and according to the scales, I'm now 90kgs, which is pretty good I reckon. Still a long way to go though!
