RES: Time to stop being cute

So it looks like towards the end of the last challenge it was rather self prophesied and I fell off 😞 I could blame work and trying to figure out a schedule that goes with it, I could blame it on the fact that I'm out of practice, I could blame it on lack of motivation...but blame never solved much of anything. Too much flexibility allows me too much opportunity to screw up so I think I need to get a little bit less lenient in my approach.

The Plan....

Conscientious: Make 24 hour plan, eat on plan when hungry, stop when full. Track everything.

Unconventional: With time being at a premium any extra stuff I get to do will be here

Time: Get 7 hours of sleep a night, post at least 3 times a week in my thread.

Exercise: Body weight every other day, 6,000 steps a day, 5/6 days treadmill workout

With any part of the season being a bit question mark right now we're working about 6 days a week, except for this/next? week when we work 7 (both days of fathers day weekend). A lot of times we don't know this too much in advance so being flexible is important right now, but I still need to remember to take care of myself, and this includes making smart choices about eating and exercise. When I struggle I need to remember how much better I feel when I do these things, if that doesn't work I need to remember how I want to look on my cruse later this year 😄

I have discovered I really like schedules and structure...at least in my work life, personal life can be a bit more spontaneous, I don't like when work is!

I can see where having to be flexible at work means you need to be more structured in the rest of your life. You've dealt with crazy work schedules before, you've got this.

Following to see all the cool things you do. :D

Here's to hoping for time to do cool things :D

Got my 19th tattoo this week 😄

IFPAB9O.jpg

D and I have 4 more to go to catch up with our plan

The Plan....

Conscientious: Make 24 hour plan, eat on plan when hungry, stop when full. Track everything. 7/7 plan, 7/7 Track

Unconventional: With time being at a premium any extra stuff I get to do will be here See above LOL

Time: Get 7 hours of sleep a night, post at least 3 times a week in my thread. 5/7 Sleep, 2/3 posting

Exercise: Body weight every other day, 6,000 steps a day, 5/6 days treadmill workout 1/3 Body weight (due to events) 2/7 Over 6,000

Does waiting tables count as weights? I know I got some cardio in but OMG I forgot how much of a workout it was to do that...probably why I was 50 lbs lighter when I did it. Events all week so, like during season, I'm not getting up early to work out when doing those. Looks bad on the tracking but oh well

I went paddle-boarding today! For the first time ever...definitely need my own board now :D

D had a sign made for our porch, how awesome is this?

The Plan....

Conscientious: Make 24 hour plan, eat on plan when hungry, stop when full. Track everything. 7/7 plan, 7/7 Track

Unconventional: With time being at a premium any extra stuff I get to do will be here New week so today's stuff doesn't count, next week though!

Time: Get 7 hours of sleep a night, post at least 3 times a week in my thread. 7/7 Sleep, 1/3 posting

Exercise: Body weight every other day, 6,000 steps a day, 5/6 days treadmill workout 0/3 Body weight (due to events) 1/7 Over 6,000

Worked three events this week, I really need to get back on track with workouts though...my inflammation levels are through the roof and I know that will help

I'm not supposed to say anything regarding this publicly, but I doubt anyone would check here

Got word last night that someone in our office tested positive for Covid-19, they sent us all to get tested this morning...should have the results in 24-72 hours

I'm a little bit freaked out right now, no one knows who it is so I have no way of knowing how much exposure I've had to it, as well as no idea how long this person has had it, etc...between my age and having an autoimmune disease I'm not certain how it would affect me if I did get it

Survived the event on July 3rd, lots of stuff lead up to that which really bothered me though.

With the cancellation of our season (finally official) this was likely the biggest event we will have this year until Covid gets under control, so it was important and we've been working on it for weeks. Monday we found out that one of our coworkers tested positive (pretty sure it's the GM, that was the only person not at work Friday except the one who quit, but I'm jumping ahead) Tuesday we all went and got tested and were unable to return to work until we got our results which the facility told us would be 48-72 hours, but the executive team that scheduled the tests had been told it would be 24-48...Thursday evening, no one has gotten their results yet, event is the next day, we are told we will have a zoom call the next morning for a go/no go...next morning the majority of people still do not have their results but we are informed that the person who does our HR has contacted the lab and gotten everyone's results and they are all negative (I was one of the few that had actually gotten my results) and we have 45 minutes to get into the office and meet up for assignments to get ready for the event that night...not one person signed anything that stated our results could be released to anyone.

This brings up two issues that most of the office is now wrestling with...either the place we went to get tested/lab they sent it to gave our results to our employer without authorization, or they told everyone that to make them comfortable enough to go into work so they didn't have to cancel the event. Either of which is a whole ethical dilemma that I'm having a whole lot of issues dealing with...as I stated above, we had one person quit over this, several are talking about leaving, and personally I've been passively doing it but going to actively start looking for another job.

The Plan....

Conscientious: Make 24 hour plan, eat on plan when hungry, stop when full. Track everything. 7/7 plan, 7/7 Track

Unconventional: With time being at a premium any extra stuff I get to do will be here As I posted last Sunday I went paddle boarding with my bff and her family, yesterday the weather held off long enough for us to get a short ride in

Time: Get 7 hours of sleep a night, post at least 3 times a week in my thread. 7/7 Sleep, 3/3 posting

Exercise: Body weight every other day, 6,000 steps a day, 5/6 days treadmill workout 0/3 Body weight, 1/7 Over 6,000

No real workouts done this week due to everything that was going on, sleep wasn't hard to get, I've been really tired for some reason lately.

Nah ah. Boss man lied to you because he’d rather risk your health than loss money. I hope you find a new gig soon.

I do have the factor that accountants are needed in almost every industry...I've also toyed with the idea of starting my own business, may start taking steps in that direction as well.

I'm also glad for that...but yikes is right. I'm thankful to be employed right now but at what cost?

The Plan....

Conscientious: Make 24 hour plan, eat on plan when hungry, stop when full. Track everything. 7/7 plan, 7/7 Track

Unconventional: With time being at a premium any extra stuff I get to do will be here  Went for a nice ride with the Fat Bottom Girlz yesterday before going in to work.

Time: Get 7 hours of sleep a night, post at least 3 times a week in my thread. 7/7 Sleep, 2/3 posting

Exercise: Body weight every other day, 6,000 steps a day, 5/6 days treadmill workout 3/3 weight, 0/7 Over 6,000 3/6 treadmill

Applied to several jobs this week, next 2 Saturdays are work days then it looks like it will be WFH for the month of August since the orange idiot is supposed to be in town...right across the street from where I work...so everything in that area will be on lock-down.

So, until we hear otherwise....

I've been put in charge of getting the backgrounds ready to submit for the circus that's coming to my town...This week is all early days because we've got 'camp' going on, Wednesday is a late day for Swing for your Swag night, Friday is a late day for Date Night movie night, Saturday is Move and Trivia night...I'm tired just typing that. Thankfully not my week to cook
