I don't mind giving up, but considering the short recovery time from the fails and how much time I still have left in the challenge, it didn't make sense not to continue. ---------- I tried going over sideways but it didn't work. So now I'm just doing other flips on the crash mat, and backflips only at the beach, and with a spotter. I've been skipping physio lately so that's probably why. Anyway, I don't think its a good idea to be swinging my arms around anytime soon, as I'm still recovering. I'll call it quits for the backflip quest. Main quests Do a backflip on grass by the end of the challenge - FAILED Run 2X a week - CANCELLED until my shoulder recovers enough Maintain leg strength: Leg day 2X a week Shoulder physio: Face pulls, band external rotations, band pull aparts and band overhead pull aparts, at least 2X a week when my shoulder recovers enough 3 Quote Link to comment

This hurt me to read. I've heard dislocating your shoulder is extremely painful... has it happened to you before? I agree with the others on the rehab thing. It's happened once before, and yeah it hurt. It didn't hurt too bad this time though, the shoulder just felt weak afterwards, and in certain movements/positions. I remember all the stuff the physiotherapist told me to do last time, so I'm just doing that. ------------- I picked up a small kids trampoline thingy from the trash a while back but it was missing its legs. DoubleTrouble Posted September 5, 2020 Author Report Share Posted September 5, 2020 Recovery is going well. I'm able to run again, and started the shoulder physio exercises too. So I only missed one run because of the injury. It turns out I can do some one handed parkour stuff too. And I made some progress on the trampoline base.
