aramis
I still think of goals (if any). But "doing my job" and shoving my kettlebells around showed me that I struggle with 32 kg Get Ups by not keeping my wrist from hyperextension under load. Gotta find some accessory exercise to better stabilize the wrist (strengthen my wrist flexion). I did told before I finally bought 32kg kettlebell, didn't I? 2 Quote I absolutely CAN run on caffeine and hatred. But only with a dash of milk. aramis
Progress! Yesterday's training left me pumped out, but all 5 sets of 20 one arm swings were done with 32kg 'bell GetUps are still in 2x1 32kg + 8x1 24kg. aramis
I just downloaded GIMP and trying to get the hang of it. I want to visualize my plans on modifying my bike before I do any cuts or buy stuff. This made me realize I just cannot live without constant pressure and hecticness. As soon as I try to calm down and balance stuff inside and around me, I find another thing I'm jumping headfirst into... sigh. 2 Quote I absolutely CAN run on caffeine and hatred. aramis
GIMP... ummm... yeah. I did some editing, used layers and masks... and learned the fuel tank (I already ordered) will be too short 😠 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Gotta rethink the seat length to compensate. Good I haven't done with it anything yet. The plan is to build one from scratch, so I have some space to maneuver. 1 1 Quote I absolutely CAN run on caffeine and hatred. But only with a dash of milk. Simply doing 32 kg get-ups seems enough, as wrists are adjusting to heavier bell. Just don't overdo, add one heavy rep a time. Right now it is 4 heavy and 6 light getups. ... aramis
On Saturday I added another "heavy" getup set, so it's now 6x1 32kg and 4x1 24kg! And for something completely different - Friday way from work was my last ride on a bike in this season. In long-term forecast there are no signs of nice "rideable" weather anymore, so I can switch my mind from "riding" to "tinkering" mode By the way this Friday ride was my (unintentional) first real rain ride - 30 minutes in a downpour (it started raining two hours earlier than forecast told in the morning). It was mentally challenging to trust my tires in all the corners, not to slow down to walking speed before every turn etc. But I drove decently and didn't drop the bike. It was fun experience. After getting home I looked like I'd drive into a lake ... and probably because of this I woked up today with stuffed nose and sore throat. Good I have chicken broth at hand 2 Quote I absolutely CAN run on caffeine and hatred. But only with a dash of milk. Challenges' status: Spoiler Not gonna Challenge anymore for now.
