Is jogging on spot as effective as regular jogging ?

I don't have a definitive answer for you, but it seeme to me it would be fairly comparable, minus the variables outdoor running introduces (terrain and weather being the two big ones that come to mind).

 

If you're looking to up the difficulty, I saw someone else on the NF Facebook page anchoring themselves with a resistance band to add to the intensity of their spot jogging.
